Education in this critical time of rapid social change faces
unique problems and challenges. At such times, it is important
beyond measure that human beings engage in responsible, intel-
ligent thought and action.. That part of one 1 s education which
comes with schooling must provide a sound basis for this kind
of behavior.
The programs of instruction and the organization of the
Laboratory School are dedicated to the accomplishment of this
task. As you view the page~ in this book, it is hoped that you
will be reminded of the both seriousness of purpose and the
"fun" that goes with attendance at our school.
