Welcome to Berny-Rivière, Picardy! The campsite La Croix du Vieux Pont is located along the Aisne River, just outside Paris and

the Champagne region. In the heart of a beautiful natural area, you will spend a fabulous holiday thanks to a wide range of

services and activities! The domain extends on a beautiful wooded and flowered park of 100 acres. The various ponds have been

turned into swimming and fishing areas.

Main reception

The main reception opens from 8am to 7pm. They will provide you with general and touristic information and also allow you to

book excursions, bus, taxi or tickets for Disneyland Paris and Astérix themed parc.

Barriers opening time: 7.30am to midnight. Please note it is strictly prohibited to drive on site outside of the opening times.

Pools and swimming facilities

Pool complex

A heated pool complex with retractable roof is open from

April to October giving you the opportunity to enjoy it during

the hottest days as well as the coolest ones. For the little

ones, there is a children’s pool with a play island and

fountains and for the older ones, a swimming area and water

slides. A solarium, a jacuzzi and hydro massage areas will

offer you relaxing moments.

The complex also includes an outdoor pool with a counter

current river, waterfalls, water games and a small wooden

bridge.

The beach made-in Berny Rivière

A naturally filtered lake has been built in order to recreate a

beach atmosphere featuring white sand, straw sun shades,

sand castles, inflatable boats and beach-volley.

For your information, swimming shorts are allowed;

inflatables are only allowed in the lake.

The sunloungers are free.

It is strictly prohibited to enter the swimming pools outside

the opening hours. The campsite reserves the right to evict you from the resort for any breach of the rules.

Services

A wide variety of services are offered within the campsite however,

for some of them, you will need to pay additional fees. Among them

you will find a bakery, a launderette (4€), a grocery store, currency

exchange, safety deposit boxes, TV and Wi-Fi areas, restaurants, bar,

pub, take away, night car park, beauty salon, hair salon, mini golf

(Adult 4€, Children under 12 years old 2€) pool table and games room.

Opening/Closing times

Supermarket/Bakery: 8am to 7.30pm;

K’do shop: 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 6pm

Summer Bar: 2pm until late; Macao Beach Bar: 12pm until [closed on

Mondays];

Tower: 9am to 5pm

Animations and activities

Every effort has been made to ensure a perfect holiday for the whole family. Little

ones and grown-ups will enjoy themselves, have fun and relax thanks to the

multitude of different activities and animations.

The campsite features a bowling alley, a laser-game, a pool table, an archery, a

boules area, a basket-ball pitch, a football pitch, tennis courts, a zip line, a

climbing wall, ping-pong tables, multi sports arena, children play area, canoe,

pedalo, bike, trampoline, children quad bike, mini golf and horse riding…

Campsite rules

When you book with Lifestyle Holidays, you agree to comply with the campsite rules which are on display at main reception or

can be handed out on request. We advise you to read them carefully. We cannot be responsible if you get evicted from the resort

for any breach of the rules. Please note that you might not be allowed to wear swimming shorts or shirts in the pool. It is strictly

prohibited to enter the swimming pools outside the opening hours. Please respect your neighbours, any abusive and repetitive

disturbance noises could lead to sanctions.

GETTING AROUND

On foot

It will take approximately 20/25 min to walk to the nearest small supermarket or closest town, Vic-sur-Aisne.

Bus service OISE MOBILITÉ

The easiest way to go to the nearby towns like Compiègne, Soissons, Attichy, is by taking the city bus. The nearest stop is not far

from the campsite entrance « Arrêt Calvaire ». The timetables can be found online – CLICK HERE – (Stop name, enter Calvaire -

Berny Riviere).

Campsite excursions

From April to October, the campsite offers a shuttle service giving you the opportunity to visit Paris or Disneyland Paris.

Paris : 7.50am departure from the campsite, return 6.45pm from Paris. Adult 23€, Child (2-11) 17€, Baby (0-2) 11€.

Disneyland : 7.50am departure from the campsite, return 7.50pm from Disneyland. Adult 17€, Child (2-11) 14€, Baby (0-2) 10€

SNCF Train station in Soissons

The Soissons train station offers various daily journeys allowing you to discover the surroundings. Among others, the train links

DISNEYLAND PARIS: The Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studio parks are located about 1h30 drive from La Croix du Vieux Pont.

Roundtrip shuttles are available from the campsite at the following times and rates: 7.50am departure from the campsite, return

AXO’PLAGE: Axo'plage is a natural and leisure area located in Monampteuil, 40 minutes away from the campsite. Kids and adults

TOURS AND PLACES TO VISIT AROUND BERNY

PARIS – You will be delighted by the exploration of the fascinating French capital. Cultural visits, luxury shops, French gastronomy,

cruise on the Seine… Everything about Paris is made to entertain you! The campsite and its shuttle service organise day trips,

twice a week between April and October. Trip to Paris: 7.50am departure from the campsite, return 6.45pm from Paris.

LA BAIE DE SOMME – The Somme Bay – This beautiful natural site will amaze you. Cycle along the Bay or cross the Bay on foot

with tourist guides and take advantage of this opportunity to discover the diversity of its fauna and flora. The lucky ones might

even have the chance to meet seals! Why not come and taste the local gastronomy: Bouchot mussels, Somme Bay salt-meadow

lamb, fish, herbs from the bay… About 2h drive from site.

AMIENS – Take advantage of your holiday in Berny-Riviere to discover the beautiful city of Amiens. Amiens received the label of

“Town of Art and History”; its cultural heritage and originality will enchant you. In addition to the numerous museums and

monuments, you can enjoy music, cinema and theatre festivals that are sometimes organised in the street. Its Cathedral is a must

see as it has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. For those who just want to enjoy a day out, Amiens is what you

need as there are more than 700 shops, bars and restaurants. It will take approximately 1h30 to get there.

LAON - Laon is a gem of the medieval time with its 8km of ramparts and its 80 historical monuments. Overlooking the area, the

city and its Cathedral can be seen kilometres around. When you visit Laon, get ready to travel through more than six centuries of

History. Art, history and architecture lovers will be thrilled! You can also visit the basements of the city, which will be a unique

and unusual experience! It will take approximately 40mins to get there.

CHANTILLY – Born right after the construction of the Castle, the city of Chantilly is filled with History. It is mostly known for its

horse races and its Castle, but its recognition comes also from its wide variety and its high quality in terms of Heritage. Everyone

can relax and find activities to do: a visit of the Lace Museum, a stroll along the canals, a visit of the castle and the stables, a walk

in the famous forest of Chantilly, or follow the tourist route to discover all the assets and attractions of the city. It will take

approximately 1h10 to get there.
