Established in 2006, L&G was the first provincially located insurance broker in the vicinity of greater Jakarta. Early from the beginnning we have commited ourselves to expand and evolve our service capability to become the integrated risk services provider both life and non life insurance requirement. ROLE OF L&G

Irvan is well known as Indonesian senior insurance analyst. His opinion is published regularly in Bisnis Indonesia and Kompas daily the largest newspapers in Indonesia.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He started his career in 1979 as junior assistance at Royal Indrapura a joint venture insurance company in Jakarta. In 1983 He continued his carrier by joining IBS Insurance Broking Service. An international insurance broker in association with the Citcorp Insurance a subsidiary company of Citibank. His latest position was a senior unit manager.

After 8 year then he moved and joined New Zealand Insurance Indonesia. He then moved back to insurance broking by joining 2 national insurance brokers. He was in charged as President Director of EstikaJasatama as subsidiary company of the largest state owned bank. In 2001 he continued his carrier by joining PT Jasa Indonesia (JASINDO) Indonesia’s largest insurance company. He was in charged as Director. Currently Irvan is in charged as Commissioner of Asuransi JiwaBersamaBumiputera 1912 the oldest and the larger life national insurance company.

Taufik is the founder of L&G. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He holds certificates of Registered Financial Planner (RFP), Certified Indonesian Insurance Broker (CIIB) and Ahli Pialang Asuransi Indonesia (APAI).

Taufik started his career as life insurance agent at Asuransi Jiwa Bersama Bumiputera 1912 (in Jakarta in 1983 at the age of 19). Two years later he joined American International Underwriter (AIU) a general insurance company. Again he was in charged as an agent. In 1988 he joined Insurance Broking Service (IBS) an international insurance broker in association with the Citicorp Insurance a subsidiary company of Citibank. He started his career as junior assistant. His last position was Senior Unit Manager. During his time at IBS he gained valuable experiences in handling large and complicated risks such as petrochemical plants, large construction projects, oil and gas, mega property and heavy equipment.

In 1995 Taufik showed his brilliant business and entrepreneurship skill by winning Biz Game Championship organized by IBM Asia Pacific in Jakarta. He deserved to represent Indonesia to Asia Pacific Business Game competition held in Sydney Australia attended by 6 Asia Pacific nations. There, again Taufik and his team became the winner and deserved the Asia Pacific Champion. The contest was about how to run a large corporation that was under difficult situations during multiple crises and to become a successful company. Following the glory, Taufik decided to start his own broking company. In 1996 he set up an insurance broker in cooperation with some investors. Just only within 5 years the company became top 10 insurance brokers in the country.In September 2006, he founded L&G

EXPERTISES Walimatul Hidayati (IIL) – Director

Iil has a very strong background in engineering and construction business. She has spent more than 10 years. She started her career as junior assistant at PT Elmec Citra Technica a national company in charged of engineering, construction and supply for National Electricity Company (PLN). In 1995 she moved to ANZ Panin Bank a joint venture bank. She decided to move back to construction business by joining Balcke-Durr Siemens Indonesia a multinational company of Germany. The company has much involved in power Engineering, Building Services, Water Engineering, Process Engineering, Surface Condenser Technology.

In 1997 she joined PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia a large mining contractor from Australia. She was responsible for process engineering department. In 2000 she moved out from Thiess and joined PT Siemens Indonesia a Germany company. She was in charged as sales and marketing in building, technologies, fire safety and security products.

Her insurance career started when she signed an agreement as strategic partner with a national insurance broker in 2005. She was responsible to create clients for that broker. Just in a short time she proved that she could bring in some large clients. Starting from that moment she believes that she can be successful in insurance industry. She continued her journey in insurance by joining ALLIANZ Indonesia a large Germany insurance company in 2006. She started as an agent for ALLIANZ life division. While selling life insurance she also involved in general insurance risks. In 2008 she joined L&G.

Yusi has been working over 23 years in insurance industry, especially in Insurance Broking Business. He graduated from Bina Nusantara University majoring in Information Management in 1990, he started his career in the field of Information Technology in 1987 as a programmer in Kopertis III Jakarta.In 1991 Yusi started his debut in insurance broking business by joining IBS, one of the largest insurance brokers in Indonesia his position was a Programmer. Working several years in IBS, he has been rotated accross several position i.e. Senior Programmer, System Analyst and Software Engineer. Resigned from IBS, then Yusi joined a software house PT Intralaba a Magic Software Distributor in Indonesia as a Project Manager before he joined PT VBS Insurance Brokers in 2000 as an IT Manager. His main role was as IT Manager however, the company has given additional responsibility to include finance, HR and general affairs . In 2011 Yusi joined PT Perisai Insurance Brokers until the end of 2012 as an IT Professional . In November 2012 Yusi joined with PT L & G Risk Services as GM Finance and Administration until now .

Aziz has been in insurance industry for over 20 years. His insurance career spans mostly with highly reputable insurance and reinsurance broking and insurance companies. His experiences include his past employment with IBS Insurance Broking Service, Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), Aon Indonesia, Aon Reinsurance Brokers Indonesia, Caraka Mulia (ex legacy of Bank Exim), Berdikari Insurance and Asuransi Dayin Mitra Tbk.Aziz holds Diploma of Insurance and certification as Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) from Australia New Zealand Insurance Institute of Finance (ANZIIF) and insurance qualification from AAMAI (Asosiasi Ahli Management Asuransi Indonesia) as Ajun Ahli Asuransi Kerugian (AAA-IK). Aziz has undergone insurance and non insurance training and seminars overseas in London, Australia, Manila, Singapore which have enriched his knowledge.

Bambang Sumantri has more than 40 years working in Technical and Management positions in Multi National and National Oil Companies in various positions, projects and economics.A graduate of Petroleum Engineering of Institute Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 1963 then worked at PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia in Riau Central Sumatera including one year in Bakersfield, USA.In 1971 he worked in PN Pertamina, served initially at BKKA, Coordinating Body of Foreign Oil Contractors Jakarta then transferred to Pertamina Field Operation in South Sumatera and finally appointed as Project Manager of Java Pipeline Project before retired in 1993.After retired from Pertamina he founded PT Petronusa Bumibakti, the first National Oil Company signing Production Contract with Pertamina and act as the President Director. In 1997 he worked in PT Petronusa Karyabakti as Business Development Director. In 2002 – 2005 he was appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT Visi Bersama Serantau (VBS) an insurance broker company.In 2003 – 2012 he worked in PT Petrogas Jatim Utama, an East Java Province owned Enterprise as Senior Advisor, and from 2004 – 2012 he worked as a Senior Advisor of PT Eastern Logistics which build a Shorebase in Lamongan East Java. In 2012 – 2013 he worked in PT Apexindo Pratama Duta as Audit Committee. Since 2014 he joined PT L&G Risk Services as a Technical Advisor focusing on Oil and Gas Industries.
