Logging into the System:

Colleges can log-in to TEIS (Technical Education Information System) with the help of password sent to their

respective E-mail. Please enter following address www.jacpcldce.ac.in in the explorer to visit the portal click on

the Know Your College TAG; the Log-In screen will appear as below.

[A] Enter your E-mail ID as User ID

[B] Enter password which is sent to you in your E-mail

[C] Click on “Log In” Button to Log-in to the System.

[D] In case you forget the password you can click on the “forgot your password?” and new activation link will be

sent to you.

On successful login, the screen will appear as shown below:

Note down the number shown on the left hand side as indicated by arrow. This number is your PIN and this will

be required in case you forget your password and want to regenerate the link

Forgot Password:

In case you forget your password, clicking on the “Forgot your password?” button, the screen will appear as

shown below:

[A] Enter your E-mail ID as User ID

[B] Enter 16 digits PIN

[C] Click on “Send Link To Email” Button to reset password.

After filling details as shown above and clicking on “Send Link To Email” Button you will receive “Email sent

message” as shown above and will receive activation link in your Email.

Important Tips:

User – ID (your E-mail ID) and Password (sent on your E-mail) is case sensitive so make sure to type it correctly

for successful Log In.

College/Institute Log-in:

On successful log-in, the Management screen will appear with five important TABs as shown below:

In College Details TAB, College has to enter basic details like address, contact information, Location details,

amenities, staff profile, laboratory details, academic excellence etc…

In Report TAB, the College can take the printout of filled form.

In API Approval TAB, College/Institute Head can moderate the API forms filled by the teaching faculties of their

college.

In Change Password TAB, College can change the password assigned for Log-In. It is advisable to change the

password after first Log-IN.

In Logout TAB, Management can Log-Off from the portal.

Important Tips:

Before Logging Off from the application please make sure that the last data filled is saved properly. It is

advisable to use this TAB for quitting the portal.

[01] College Details:

Clicking on the “01.College Details” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as mentioned

below and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

Important Tips:

In case of invalid entry (particularly mobile no, website, email address) the data will not be saved and screen

will be marked with error description in red. Mobile number should be of 10 digits. Email should be in

[email protected] format and website in www.xyz.com format.

Please enter correct longitude and latitude details as positioning of your college on GIS is important and based

on this data only. (Please enter up to 5 to 6 digits fraction)

How to know your Longitude and latitude:

Visit https://maps.google.co.in screen below will appear click on satellite view enter your details to view your

location building clearly. Click on the area or building you will see the longitude and latitude, Copy and enter the

data

[02] Course, branch, Intake Details Information:

Clicking on the “02.Course, branch, Intake Details” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as

mentioned below and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

Add Button can be used to add multiple activities, after filling basic details click add

this will add this record in the pane below.

“Pen symbol” is used to edit the current row data. “Cross symbol” is used to delete the row.

[03] Performance and Accreditation:

Clicking on the “03.Performance and Accreditation” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details

as mentioned below and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

College can fill various sub activities under 6 different heads. Please upload photograph related with

particular sub activity. Accreditation details can be filled in the screen as shown below

Add Button can be used to add multiple activities, after filling basic details click add

Clicking on the “04.Fees & Scholarship Details” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as

[05] Details of Staff:

Clicking on the “05.Details of Staff” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as mentioned

below and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

Remember to click on “Send Staff Login Details”, this will provide activation links to respective staff on

their given email ID for filling API and departmental information to be filled.

NOTE: Link should be sent only to teaching staff. HOD will be able to fill his/her API as well as

Departmental information. Staff has to fill only API information

Excel file upload option:

The data uploaded by you will be verified and if found as per the format, then message will be prompted and

you will be able to see all data in pane below.

In case of error in any record, you will be prompted with the record number where the problem is and the

uploaded file will be discarded. You have to correct the error and upload the file again.

On successful loading of the excel file, you cannot upload another excel file. In case you want to upload new

excel file, you have to delete all data from the pane and options for downloading and uploading will be visible.

You can add staff detail using Method 2 even after uploading excel file.

[06] Laboratory & Results:

Clicking on the “06.Laboratory & Results” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as

mentioned below and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

Please upload photograph related with each laboratory.

[06] Amenities:

Clicking on the “07.Amenities” screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as mentioned below

and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

Clicking on Report TAB you will get the screen as shown below for printing of filled data:

[C] API Approval TAB

Clicking on API Approval TAB you will get the screen as shown below

College head can use this TAB to verify API filled by the teaching staff. Green Colour in Staff column

indicates that faculty has filled his/her API form and locked the data. (Green mark in staff column

indicates ready for verification). As soon as head verifies the staff API and locks tag below under

‘principal’ will change to green.

[D] Change Password TAB

On Clicking Change password TAB, management can change the password by entering old password (I), entering

new password (II) and confirming the same (III). Click on “ChangePassword” Button to change password. Message

will be prompted on successful change of password. New password will be activated on next Login.

Important Tips:

It is advisable to change the password after first Log-IN.

College Link Activation for Login:

As soon as college/institute sends the E-Mail link to Department head/authority, notification will be received by

Department head/authority as shown below:

On clicking on the “Click here” as indicated by arrow, the following login screen will appear

[A] The user ID assigned to the Department authority is non-editable. (E-Mail is User-ID for Department)

[B] Enter Password of your choice, this will be used for subsequent log-in.

[C] Retype the same password and click on “Confirm Password” to activate College

Important Tips:

Password should be of minimum 6 characters having combination of letters, alphabets and minimum one

special character.

Link Activation is one time only. Once the password is entered and college is activated, normal login is to be

used for logging into the portal.

Department Log-in:

On successful log-in,the screen will appear with tabs as illustrated as below:

In API Entry Form TAB, college/department head can fill his/her API related information.

In Department Information TAB, college/department has to fill information related to department like vision and

mission, program specific information, program educational objectives, curriculum, faculty and student

performance etc…

In Change Password TAB, College/department can change the password used to Log-In. It is advisable to change

the password

In Logout TAB, College/department can Log-Off from the portal.

[A] API Entry Form TAB

On Clicking API Entry Form TAB, department head can fill his/her API form. Screen images related to with API form

are illustrated in detail in PART-C (Staff)

In API form information related to his/her personal information, achievements, teaching learning, conference and

seminars attended etc…

Filled API form is to be locked for futher verification/validation from the principal of the college.

Please mention capacity as average capacity in all the room descriptions. Clearly mention number of rooms with

advance facilities.

Clicking on the “09.Acadamic Support screen shown as below will appear, Fill the details as mentioned

below and click “Save” or “Update and Continue” button to save the data

[C] Change Password TAB
