    Mural and ‘Helping Hands’Project

Thank you to everyone for your donations of plastic lids for our sea mural (designed by Jennifer 5C). The students are currently working on the mural and it looks amazing.

    KEEP COLLECTING THOSE LIDS!

We have decided to become involved in the Envision project called ‘Helping Hands’. This project aims to collect 1,000,000 bottle tops which are recycled and turned into prosthetic hands and arms for children in war torn and developing countries. Please keep saving your plastic lids, wash them and send along to the Art room.

    Ukulele

The ‘King Strings’ will start up again in week 4, Monday 6th August. We get together every Monday at lunch time in the Art room. We will start again with the basics- how to hold a ukulele, simple chords and working on some easy songs. There are still places available. Students who want to join must commit to coming along every week. Add your name to the list outside the Art room or see Jan if you’re interested.
