WEICON Contact
Jednokomponentna ljepila, hladno sušenje, bez otapala. Brzo se polimeriziraju reagujući sa vlagom sa površine materijala koji se spaja i vlagom iz zraka, te se suše i stvrdnjavaju pod laganim pritiskom.
Sušenje se dešava u par sekundi spajajući materijale same sa sobom ili u kombinaciji sa drugim materijalima kao što su metali, plastika, staklo, keramika, drvo, koža, prirodna i sintetička guma. WEICON Contact cijanoakrilna ljepila obezbjeđuju strukturalnu snagu sa temperaturnom otpor-nosti od -50oC do +135oC te zavidan nivo otpornosti na hemi-kalije.
U većini slučajeva, zaljepljeno mjesto se dokaže kao puno jače od samog materijala koje je lijepljeno.
Široki spektar različitih tipova jedostupan za različite aplikacije.
Tipovi se razlikuju u hemijskomsastavu i viskozitetu.

WEICON ContactPrimer za poliolefine
Plastični materijali tretirani sa WEICON Contact primerom mijenjaju svoju strukturu. Na ovaj način je moguće izvršiti spajanje materijala kao što su polietilen (PE) i polipropilen (PP), koji pripadaju poliolefinskoj grupi.
WEICON Contact Filler
Punjenje i momentalno spajanje racjepa i pukotina, rupa kao i za neravne površine u kombinaciji sa WEICON Contact ljepilom tip VA8312.
Contact Filler se treba primjeniti u slojevima i to: ljepilo - filer - ljepilo. Nakon završenog sušenja, materi-jal se može šmirglati i bojiti.

Preporučena upotreba kod:• visoko viskoznih WEICON Contact tipova• velike debljine ljepljivog premaza• apsorbirajućih i poroznih površi-na• pasivnih materijala (alkalne površine kao pocinčani metalnidijelovi)• loših vremenski uslova (niske temperature, mala vlažnost zraka<30%)

WEICONContactCyanoacrylateAdhesivesprovidehighstructuralstrength,withatemperatureresistancefrom-50°C (-58°F)toupto+135°C(+275°F) andgoodlevelsofresistancetoalotofchemicals.Inmanyinstances,thecuredbondjointprovestobeharderthanthematerialofthebondedparts(materialfracture).
Awiderangeofproducttypesisavailableforavarietyofapplications.Thetypesdifferchemicallyandbytheirviscosity.
EthylesterbasedtypesDue to the size of themolecules and the resultinganchoringpointspositionedfarfromeachother,ahigherelasticityofthebondjointisachieved.Thesetypesarerecommendedforbondingplasticsandrubber.
AlkoxyethylbasedtypesAlsowith adhesives on this basis there is flexibilityconcerning the curing due to the similarmoleculestructure.However, its particular characteristic is itslowodour and, therefore, user-friendlyprocessabilityespeciallywithassemblylinemanufacturing.When cured, they are less sensitive to humidity andshouldbeappliedinthoseinstanceswherethewhite“blooming”ofthebondlineisnottoleratedforopticalreasons.
MethylesterbasedtypesDue to their small molecule structure and closelypositionedanchoringpoints,thesetypesarelessflexibleafter curing. Therefore, they offer particularly goodapplicationpossibilitiesforbondingmetals.

ContactPrimerforPolyolefinesWithout pre-treatment,many plastics are unable tobondorbondonlyundercertainconditions.Whentheseplasticsarepre-treatedwithWEICONContactPrimer,theirsurfacestructurechanges.Therebythejoiningofplastics,likepolyethylene(PE)andpolypropylene(PP)belonging to thepolyolefinegroup,whichareusuallydifficulttobond,ismadepossible.Evenmodern thermoplasticelastomers (TPE),Teflon® (PTFE)andrelatedplasticsaswellassilicones,canbebondedwhenpre-treatedwithWEICONContactPrimer.Thus,thefollowingadvantagesarise:•largerchoiceofusableplastics•higherbondingstrengthwithplasticswhichare usuallydifficulttobond•costsavingsasothermechanicalmethodsofpre- treatment(scalloping,lowpressureplasma,heat treatmentetc.)arenotnecessaryTheeffectivenessofWEICONCA-Primerbeginsapprox.2minutes after application and lasts up to approx. 24hours.

PhysiologicalPropertiesHealthandsafetyatworkPhysiologically,WEICONContactCyanoacrylateAdhesivesmaybeconsideredasessentiallyharmless.However,ensuresufficientventilationofworkplacestocopewiththeadhesive’stypicalvapours.Vapours ofWEICONContactmay cause irritation of themucousmembranesand theeyes.Avoidcontactwithskinandeyes (wearglovesandprotectivegoggles).TheuseofWEICONHandProtectiveFoampreventsskin irritationandhandcleaningproblems
StorageWEICONContactCyanoacrylateAdhesivesshouldalwaysbestoredinacool,dryanddarkplace.Theshelflifeisatleast9monthsifstoredatroomtemperature(18-25°C).Ifstoredat+5°C(e.g.inarefrigerator),theshelflifecanbeextendedto12months.
