Brothers All: I would like to congratulate all the new-
ly elected officers for the 2018-2019 fiscal year. Under the leadership of our New Grand Knight Joe Swaja I am sure it will be a highly successful and wonderful year. My time in office is coming to a close, Thank you to all the officers and Knights and Columbiette who made this second time around a great experi-ence ,without your euthanasic support now of what we accomplished this year would have been possi-ble. May was a rest bit after a year filled with bingo’s fish fry’s and events too numerous to list here. We did have a social and our Knight of the month was Joe Swaja. Our Columbiette of the month was Maria Granda Our family of the month was Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reifsnyder. May God Bless and Keep each of you and your fam-ilies . Vivat Jesus Joe Fatony Grand Knight

Think You Are Too Old for Coverage? Maybe Not
You are never too young or too old to consider purchasing life insur-ance. If you have a financial need for coverage, or will in the future, a permanent life insurance policy can be just the thing you need.
When you are young and presumably healthy, coverage will be very inexpensive when compared to purchasing the same policies when you are older.
If you’ve put off purchasing coverage, or you realize that you may need additional insurance, the Order may still be able to help you, even if other companies cannot. In fact, in 2012, the issue age of our permanent life insurance products was extended to age 80, and in 2014, the issue age of our term insurance was extended to age 70. Naturally, your health, and whether or not you smoke, will be taken into consideration, so underwriting standards for risk and age apply. But, the extensions are a great blessing for me – and it could be for you too. Now I can help members that I couldn’t help before. Are you or one of your brother knights one of those members?
Whether you’re 18 or 80, the Knights of Columbus has products that will work for you and your family. I look forward to dis-cussing coverage with you.

Sir Knights and Brothers all: The busiest part of the fraternal year, which ends June 30, in the Knights and Assembly are behind us. We had a successful year and it is due to the cooperation and hard work of so many of you. For those not able to attend the April meeting, we were able to make contributions as follows: $6,000.00 to Sir Knight Father Tim for the Catholic Faith Appeal, $1,500.00 to the Military Chaplain’s Fund, and $500.00 to the American Legion. The latter 2
items helped us fulfill our principal of patriotism. I feel blessed to have had the privilege of holding the position of Faithful Navigator and want to sincerely thank each and every one for the support given to me, and most importantly the Assembly, to accomplish our goals. July 1 will be the start of the new fraternal year with an excellent slate of new officers with SK John Fusco as the Faithful Navigator. I hope you will support them as you have supported me. Thought of the day: True charity is the desire to be useful to others with no thought of recompense. Vivat Jesus. Dan Moll, Faithful Navigator

San Marco Respect Life Ministry: Pray with us to save the babies.
Since September 2009 when Planned Parenthood Naples began again to commit surgical abortions every Monday, dedicated Pro-Life people have been praying there. Every Monday from 8:30 to 3:30 we stand on the sidewalk outside the Abortion clinic at Creech Rd. and Goodlette-Frank in Naples. Some of us hold non-graphic signs supporting life, and all of us pray for the babies who are brought there to die, for their moth-ers and fathers, and for the volunteers and employees of the center. Please join us for an hour or two every Monday and especially the third Monday of every month (San Marco’s day). For information, please call Nancy Fine at 354-5181, or Pat Patton at 877-3038.
