GRAND KNIGHT CORNER Greeting Brother Knights and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hope everyone has a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year. As you can see in our newsletter, we have had a pretty darn good year in giving to those in need. I keep hearing that we don't do much, but I think over a ton of food and household stuff is a pretty darn good start; to be exact, it was over 2100 Lbs. We also spent the extra monies to buy two boxes of the larger coats for the bigger kids and donated them to Catholic Charities. Not bad for us not doing anything. LOL The free throw competition does not look like it is going to get off the ground unless we have someone step up and take the chair for this very worthy competition. A lot of young people will be very disappointed. There are a lot of us willing to help once someone steps up and takes charge. Please brothers, we need your HELP! We are going to start to get busy real soon with our reverse raffles and Founders Night coming up in March so we will have a lot to talk about at our next meeting. Our council is only as strong as its members, so please attend our meetings and functions and help out. Elections are coming up soon so start thinking about what office you want to run for or to nominate someone for. See you at our next meeting. Vivat Jesus Peace Bob Zullo [email protected]
SENIOR THANKSGIVING DINNER
Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts who helped us put on another great Senior Dinner. We could not have done this without your help. Have a Happy and prosperous New Year. Ed, Donny & Cathy
Christmas Food and Toy Drive and Coats for Kids The Mantua Knights of Columbus Council#3766 began their annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive on October 1st through November 30th, collecting/ generously donating items for 4C’s. They delivered over 2,100 pounds (that’s over a ton) of non-perishable goods and toys to 4C’s on December 4th. Thank you to helpers Dale Zullo, Larry Parsons, and Grand Knight Bob Zullo. Dan Baumbick and Dan Cozzens also helped, but are not in the picture.

Thanks to all who donated so generously for both of these very deserving charities.
DID YOU KNOW! by Marv Litz
The K of C emblem is literally everywhere
at the annual March for Life in
Washington, D.C. That’s because the
Knights are one of the major supporters of
the March for Life and the pro-life
movement. A Note from the Editor: IN ORDER TO MAKE OUR NEWSLETTER A SUCCESS, WE NEED YOUR ARTICLES. Please submit your articles by the 25th of the month so our Newsletter can be sent out timely. Thank you in advance…Marv Litz

JOIN US ON FACEBOOK By Marvin Litz Check out the Mantua K of C Facebook page (and become a friend) to keep up with current events and pictures. HALL INQUIRIES & RENTALS: Happy 2020 Y’all! Doug & I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with your families & friends! Now, down to business...We received 24 inquiries about the hall from October 1st to December 31st. Of those, four booked for a full rental and one was a Council donation. Just an FYI...your hall was rented 26 times during 2019. These are full rentals, not donations. As always, please suggest your hall to anyone you know planning an indoor event. I will gladly help them through the rental process. Wishing everyone a happy & healthy 2020! FOOTBALL CRAZR UPDATE
First I’d like to thank all of you that helped to make this year’s Football Crazr a record setting success! In 2017 we generated approximately $612 for our council, in 2018 we generated approximately $912 and since we sold 7 more tickets this year (2019) than last, we will undoubtedly break our record of last year. More good news; in checking the posted results from the “Football Crazr Winners List,” our council has had two winners! Week 9 - Walt McKinnon Week 10 - Rob Perhach Thanks again!!! Doug Szygenda Financial Secretary Council 3766 PS: Look for your membership dues letter in the mail soon.
IN MEMORIAM
