Our Daily Schedule

Start TimeStarting the Day:

The first school bell rings at 7:30 am.

The second and final school bell rings at 7:50.

Students who arrive after 7:50 are considered tardy.Los estudiantes que llegan después de las 7:50 son considerados tarde.

End TimeEnding the Day:Kindergarteners will be dismissed at 2:35. Students will be dismissed from the cafeteria at the front of the building.

Walkers will be picked up on the left side of the building at door A-4.

Car riders will be picked up from the car rider line in front of the school. Parents will receive a bright colored piece of paper to put on the passenger side dashboard to be easily identified.

Kindergarteners will only be released to adults on the emergency contact list who present ID or the child’s bus tag.

Breakfast & LunchBreakfast is an option that is provided for every child from 7:30-7:50.

If you want your child to eat breakfast at school you MUST send them to school on time.

Lunch will begin at either 10:55am or 11:00am in the cafeteria.

Lunch costs $3.05. You may put money on your child’s lunch account at any time.

Breakfast & Lunch ContinuedLunch monitors and our TA’s (Teacher’s Assistants) are with your child at all times during lunch.

We also ask that you try not to bring fast food into the cafeteria. We try very hard to promote healthy eating habits while at school!

Thursday Folders Every Thursday your child will bring home a “Thursday Folder”. Please look in it to find important information!

It is important that your child wears sneakers on their scheduled PE day(s).

Every week, your child will bring home a library book on their scheduled library day. They will get an entire week to enjoy the book!

Students who do not speak English as a first language are referred to as English Learners (ELs).

Keeping your child healthy and happyIt is appreciated if we receive a note if your child misses school due to illness. It can be a doctor’s excuse or a note from you.

If your child becomes sick during the day, or expresses that they don’t feel well, we will send them to the clinician where she (our nurse, Mrs. Juana Loza-Espinoza) will contact you.
