Goals for 2010-11Goals for 2010-11– Provide Merit Based Scholarships

• Guarantee scholarships for four (4) individuals– Scholarship allowances of $10,000

• Separate denominations based on merit: – e.g., (2) $3,000; (2) $2,000

– Research Promotion• Meet Chapter and Membership Research goals

– Broaden events and functions outreach– Tailor sponsorship packages

– Increase Chapter Outreach

How are we going to get there?– Consolidate Sponsorship of Key Social/Professional Events

• Aim at increasing Sponsorship awareness– Transparency in ‘Value’ offered and recognized benefits, i.e. sponsorship

packages.• Increase breadth of Sponsorship

– Joint Meetings with other groups: USGBC, MCA, AIA, BOMA– Inclusion of Rockford section– Cooperative meetings with other chapters within our region, share

Distinguished Lecturers (DL) allotted by ASHRAE– Increase Membership & Quality
