1) Students need to have these supplies
organized in their pencil case, with extras
stored at home:
1 school box (small and snaps shut)
1 pair of scissors
USB drive (labeled with student’s name)
1 box colored pencils
1 pack of multi-colored sharpies
1 pack of index cards (100 cards)
1 small pencil sharpener
1 bottle of white out
Scientific calculator-Recommend Casio fx-
115ES plus OR Casio fx-300ES plus
1 red and one black pen
1 box of blue pens
1 pack of mechanical pencils with lead
1 pack of pencils (Ticonderoga #2 box of
24)
2 highlighters
1 pack of sticky notes
5 Fine Point “skinny” black sharpies
6 large pink pearl erasers
6 glue sticks
1 Elmer’s glue
2) Students need to have these supplies in
their backpack or locker:
1 backpack that can fit inside a locker
1 lunch box
Water bottle (daily use)
6 Mead composition books (3-Arabic, 2–
ELA, 1-Science)
1 five-subject spiral notebook (Math)
One notebook of graph paper (8th graders
only)
Dividers for binder with labels (at least 12
dividers)
One (1) 1-inch binders in white (Math)
Two (2) 2-inch binders in white (1 each
Science and ELA/SS)
Five (5) pocket folders (1-Math, 2-ELA, 2-
Arabic)
3) These items should be handed to the
classroom teacher for housekeeping:
2 reams of white copy paper – 500 sheets
each
3 packs of notebook paper – 3 holed punch,
wide lined
4 boxes of Kleenex tissues
3 containers of disinfecting wipes/baby
wipes
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
4) There is a $50 fee for ELA and Enrichment
supplies used in the course all year long.

Medina Academy Supply List 2017-2018 Please bring supplies to your teacher on Friday August 25th at our “Meet & Greet” between 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Supplies should be in large plastic bags or in boxes with your child’s name clearly labeled.
