German safety regulations require thatno metal edge with a radius of lessthan 2.5mm be exposed while drivinga motorcycle. Because Quick-Locksidecase racks have edges with a radiusof less than 2.5mm, Quick-Locksidecase racks should not be usedwhen luggage is not attached to them.

SW-MOTECH products should beinstalled by a qualified, experiencedmotorcycle technician. If you are unsureof your ability to properly install aproduct, please have the productinstalled by your local motorcycledealer. SW Motech takes noresponsibility for damages caused byimproper installation.

All screws, bolts and nuts, includingall replacement hardware provided bySW-MOTECH, should be tightened tothe torque specified in the OEMmaintenance manual for yourmotorcycle. If no torque specificationsare provided in the OEM maintenancemanual, the following torques may beused:

All screws, bolts and nuts should bechecked after driving the first 50 kmto ensure that all are tightened to theproper torque.

Medium strength liquid thread-locker(i.e., "Locktite") should be used tosecure all screws, bolts and nuts.

Max. Load 5 kg (11 lbs) per case, ifnot limited by the manufacturer.Maximum speed with mounted cases:130 km/h (80 mph).

Fahren Sie nicht ohne Koffer mitmontierten Seitenplatten. Wenn sieohne Gepäck fahren, Seitenplattendemontieren.

Alle vom Motorrad gelösten Schraubensind gemäß Herstellerangaben wiederzu montieren, oder mit von SW-MOTECH gelieferten Schrauben zuersetzen. Falls nicht anderweitigdefiniert, diese Schrauben nach Tabelleanziehen.

Gegebenenfalls Schrauben mit flüssigerSchraubensicherung einkleben.

Prüfen Sie nach 50 km alleVerbindungen auf festen Sitz.

Um die Anbaubleche (5) montieren zu können, lösen Siezunächst die im Foto gezeigten Verkleidungsteile beidseitigan den markierten Stellen. Nun können Die Verkleidungsteilean den Montagepunkten bewegt werden. Montieren Sieanschließend die Anbaubleche (5) wie im Detailbild gezeigtam Fahrzeugrahmen.

For easier attachment of the mounting brackets (5), loosenthe shown plastic covers at the marked places. Now move theplastic covers and make sure to have enough space to attachthe mounting brackets (5) as shown in the detail picture.

Use a coin or a screwdriver todetach the quick fasteners of theQUICK-LOCK side carriers. Thenremove the side carriers.
