One day Mrs. O’Neill decided to go to Kenya.
She didn’t know a lot about Kenya, so she went to
Safari Tours. When she got to Safari Tours she met
the owner. His name was Kanobee Osabee. Mrs.
O’Neill asked for information about Kenya.
Kanobee told her there will be four different tour
guides to tell you about Kenya.
Your first tour guide will be Habashubabi. He will
tell you about the animals in the African Safari.
The next tour guide is Kusaka. He will tell you about
Kenyan food.
The next tour guide is Eshshewa. He will be telling
you about the lifestyle in Kenya.
Last, you will talk to Suefasa. He will tell you about
the sports and games that the Kenyan people like to
play.
First Mrs.O’Neill came to Nabasuabi. I showed her
the monitor lizard. I told her he eats eggs from
nests. The Kmoto dragon is the largest type of
monitor lizard.
Then I showed her the black and green Mamba. The
black mamba just laid eggs and was being
aggressive. The green mamba was just done
shedding so I gave the snake skin to her.
Next came the spitting, and the king cobra. She was
very surprised on how big they were. When they
seen spitting cobra, they decided to leave it alone.
We saved the best five for last; they are the
elephants, rhinos, leopards, crocodiles and the
giraffe. The elephants were so big and were taking
a bath. They were squirting each other with water.
Then came the leopard. It was sitting in a tree.
Then was the big rhino. The rhinos were eating and
running around. The crocodiles will wrap up this
part of your tour. The Guide was feeding the crocs
chicken. Some of them were fighting for the
chicken.
My name is kusecku, and I’ll tell you about food.
The place is Africa called Kenya. The food they is
called curries which is very popular in east and West
Africa. This dish is sometimes made with blum or
goat.
They also eat snakes/this snack which originated
in India is a favorite in east Africa, snakes are sold at
street stands. They cook food called yeast in their
country because very few people have refrigerator
the calling of east and West Africa is based on fresh
food. East and West Africa may only eat 2 meals per
day but they snack all day long. Suakem wiki, collard
greens is around in nearly every food stand and is a
nearly popular side to the ugli. Kenyan people also
eat goat, beef, lamb, chicken, and fish.
Kenya boys and girls like to play sports and games.
Some of the sports they play are track, soccer,
swimming, basketball, and baseball. Soccer is the
most popular team sport.
In Kenya they are best know for there long distance
runners. In 1968 Kenya was in the Olympic Games
held in Mexico City. In Mexico City the runners take
them by surprise.
Kenya is one of the few countries is that does not
allow its citizen to hold its citizenships. Kenya is still
too dependent on one sport.
They also play monacalla. Jelmo and Jep Kosge
gave Kenya a memorable 1-2 finish. The last sport
they have is dirt racing. I hope you enjoy this
information.
Hi I am Esehewa. I will tell you about the lifestyle.
They’re 42 tribes out of all the Kenya. The Kikuyu is
the largest tribe out of the 42.
The Maasai tribe would think that it would be okay
to steal cattle from other tribes. The Turkana is the
second largest tribe. The Turkana would wear beads
to cover their necks.
The Kenyans would celebrate stuff like holidays. The
Kenya dance for ceremony’s for particular event. On
December 12, Kenya’s celebrate Jamhari of
Independence Day with a parade.
We play games all the time. We all like games. The
Kenya plays Kigogo. It is played with round stones
or dried beans. They also play checkers with
wooden boards and bottle caps just like we play.
After a long day, Mrs. O’Neill went back to Safari
Tours and thanked Kanobee Osabee. She paid him
100 pounds. Kanobee gave her a souvenir of a
small golden elephant.
