Transcript of Karragarra and Lamb part 4
But that’s no big deal.
You’re looking at a big stretch of Karragarra.
You can stick to yourself or be part of a friendly community. It’s up to you.
Karragarras’ esplanade
You’ll find curlews, lorikeets, kookaburras, butcher birds..............
Plovers, ducks& magpies because the quiet, clean environment
Encourages them.
That’s Lamb Island that you’re looking at.
You get abundant sea creatures like dolphins, turtles, dugongs...
Putting all the islands together you can play golf, bowls, cricket, soccer, tennis etc
At low tide you can walk on sandbars around the island
You could fly in/out for work. Live on the island. Be near Brisbane. Imagine that.
Lamb. You live in a country town atmosphere.
Can you almost feel the gentle rocking of the water?.....
You, your spouse, the kids......fun times together
To quote an island resident(Darren)-“on the islands families tend to be closer”
This is where you launch your boat on Lamb.
At night sit on your porch and listen to the curlews’ song.
Of course you get mains power, land line phone, broadband, town water and garbage collection.
The clean, quiet environment attracts a variety of birds and other wildlife.
If you lived on Lamb Island you would be 1 of 300 or so residents.
