The Programme is established for the period 2009-2013 to promote and strengthen economic cooperation, entrepreneurship and innovation development in the NB8 countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden.
Programme financing
All eight Nordic and Baltic countries finance the programme on equal footing
Annual budget: 2,300,000 DKK

Purpose
• Promotion of regional business development and cluster cooperation
• Networking cooperation on innovative projects
• Business practice, culture and ethics, CSR• Joint N-B utilisation of EU funds• Technology transfer for mutual benefit• Support of long-term activities

Specific sector priority areas • Green Growth• Health and welfare innovation• Entrepreneurship and young entrepreneurs• Business incubator network• Promoting cluster cooperation aimed at global
markets, especially in creative, innovative and knowledge-based industries
• Initiatives to identify and remove barriers to trade and mobility within the Nordic-Baltic region

Applicants
Individuals and groups representing:
- SMEs, including one-man businesses, with special focus on creative and innovative industries, - structures related to these industries, such as business incubators at universities, colleges, institutions etc. - business organisations

Eligible forms of activity
• Network and cluster facilitating (seminars, workshops...)
• Study visits
• Internships
• On-the-job training

Mobility models
Nordic-Baltic mobility to at least two countries
N B2+ or B N2+
Network mobility to one country
NB 2+1 or 1+2

Eligible costs (up to 70%)
• Travel expenses
• Travel insurance
• Accommodation and per diems
• Mobility costs of expert participation in network meetings

Outcome
