What Is Covered

General Motors of CanadaCompany will provide for repairs tothe vehicle during the WarrantyPeriod in accordance with theterms, conditions, and limitationscontained in this booklet.

Warranty Applies

This warranty is for GM vehiclesoriginally sold new in Canada,registered in Canada and normallyoperated in Canada. GeneralMotors of Canada Companywarranty coverages may be void orsubject to restrictions on GMvehicles that have been imported orexported.

Repairs Covered

The warranty covers repairs tocorrect any covered vehicle defectdue to materials or workmanshipoccurring during the WarrantyPeriod, but not slight noise,vibrations, or other normalcharacteristics for the vehicle.

Needed repairs will be performedusing new, remanufactured,or refurbished parts.

No Charge

Warranty repairs, including partsand labor, will be made at nocharge.

Obtaining Repairs

To obtain warranty repairs, take thevehicle to a GM dealer facilityhandling your vehicle line within theWarranty Period and request theneeded repairs. Reasonable timemust be allowed for the dealershipto perform the necessary repairs.

Warranty Period

The Warranty Period for allcoverages begins on the date thevehicle is first delivered and ends atthe expiration of the applicableCoverage Period specified in thisbooklet. In certain circumstances,and if arranged before the vehicle isfirst purchased, General Motors ofCanada Company may authorizethe warranty to start on a date afterthe vehicle delivery date.

Base Warranty Coverage

The Base Warranty coverage forChevrolet and GMC is for 3 years or60 000 kilometres, whichever comesfirst, except for other coverageslisted here under “What Is Covered”and those items listed under “WhatIs Not Covered.”

The Base Warranty coverage forBuick is for 4 years or 80 000kilometres, whichever comes first,except for other coverages listedhere under “What Is Covered” andthose items listed under “What IsNot Covered.”

Powertrain Component WarrantyCoverage

For Chevrolet and GMC, thepowertrain is covered for 5 years or100 000 kilometres, whichevercomes first, except that certainCommercial Fleet and/orGovernment Fleet vehicles and2500/3500 Series Heavy Duty (HD)Pickups equipped with 6.6LDuramax Turbo-Diesel engine arecovered for 5 years or 160 000kilometres, whichever comes first.

6 New Vehicle Limited Warranty

For Buick, the powertrain is coveredfor 6 years or 110 000 kilometres,whichever comes first:

Engine Coverage includes: Allinternally lubricated parts, engine oilcooling hoses and lines. Alsoincluded are all actuators andelectrical components internal to theengine (e.g., Active FuelManagement Valve Lifter OilManifold) cylinder head, block,timing gears, timing chain, timingcover, oil pump/oil pump housing,OHC carriers, valve covers, oil pan,seals, gaskets, manifolds, flywheel,water pump, harmonic balancer,engine mount, turbocharger, andsupercharger. Timing belts andother associated componentsrequired in the timing belt servicereplacement procedure are covereduntil the first scheduledmaintenance interval.

Diesel Components Coverageincludes: Cylinder block and headsand all internal lubricant parts,intake and exhaust manifolds, timinggears, timing gear chain or belt andcover, flywheel, harmonic balancer,

valve covers, oil pan, oil pump,water pump, fuel pump, enginemounts, seals, and gaskets. Parts ofthe Emissions Reduction Systemsuch as the emissions reductionfluid tank, injectors, sensorsincluding NOx and exhaust, and theExhaust Particulate Filter. GlowPlug Control System: Control/glowplug assembly, glow plugs, coldadvance relay, and engine controlmodule. The fuel injection controlmodule, integral oil cooler,transmission adapter plate, commonfuel rails, fuel filter assembly, fueltemperature sensor, and functionblock.

Important: Some of thesecomponents may also be coveredby the Emission Warranty. SeeEmission Warranty Parts List 0 26for details.

Exclusions: Excluded from thepowertrain coverage are sensors,wiring, connectors, engine radiator,coolant hoses, coolant, and heatercore. Coverage on the enginecooling system begins at the inlet tothe water pump and ends with the

thermostat housing and/or outletthat attaches to the return hose.Also excluded is the starter motor,entire pressurized fuel system(in-tank fuel pump, pressure lines,fuel rail(s), regulator, injectors, andreturn line) as well as the Engine/Powertrain Control Module and/ormodule programming.

6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel EngineCoverage

For trucks equipped with a 6.6LDuramax Turbo-Diesel Engine, thefollowing diesel engine assemblycomponents, including turbochargercomponents (except those itemslisted under “What Is Not Covered”)are covered for repairs to correctdefects in material or workmanship.

. Cylinder block and heads and allinternal lubricant parts, intakeand exhaust manifolds, timinggears, timing gear chain or beltand cover, flywheel, harmonicbalancer, valve covers, oil pan,oil pump, water pump, fuelpump, engine mounts, seals,and gaskets.

injection pump, nozzles, highpressure lines, high pressuresealing devices.

. Glow Plug Control System:control/glow plug assembly, glowplugs, cold advance relay,Engine Control Module (ECM).

. Emissions Reduction System:Emissions Reduction Fluid Tank,Injectors, Sensors including NOxand exhaust, and ExhaustParticulate Filter

. Fuel injection control module,integral oil cooler, transmissionadapter plate, left and rightcommon fuel rails, fuel filterassembly, fuel temperaturesensor, and function blocks.

Important: Some of the abovecomponents may also be coveredby the Emissions Warranty. See theEmission Warranty Parts List 0 26for details.

Transmission/Transaxle Coverageincludes: All internally lubricatedparts, case, torque converter,mounts, seals, and gaskets as well

as any electrical componentsinternal to the transmission/transaxle. Also covered are anyactuators directly connected to thetransmission (slave cylinder, etc.).

Exclusions: Excluded from thepowertrain coverage aretransmission cooling lines, hoses,radiator, sensors, wiring, andelectrical connectors. Also excludedare the clutch and pressure plate aswell as any Transmission ControlModule and/or moduleprogramming.

Transfer Case Coverage includes:All internally lubricated parts, case,mounts, seals, and gaskets as wellas any electrical componentsinternal to the transfer case. Alsocovered are any actuators directlyconnected to the transfer case aswell as encoder motor.

Exclusions: Excluded from thepowertrain coverage are transfercase cooling lines, hoses, radiator,sensors, wiring, and electricalconnectors as well as the transfercase control module and/or moduleprogramming.

Drive Systems Coverageincludes: All internally lubricatedparts, final drive housings, axleshafts and bearings, constantvelocity joints, propeller shafts anduniversal joints. All mounts,supports, seals, and gaskets as wellas any electrical componentsinternal to the drive axle. Alsocovered are any actuators directlyconnected to the drive axle (e.g.,front differential actuator).

Exclusions: Excluded from thepowertrain coverage are all wheelbearings, drive wheel front and rearhub bearings, locking hubs, drivesystem cooling, lines, hoses,radiator, sensors, wiring, andelectrical connectors related to drivesystems as well as any drive systemcontrol module and/or moduleprogramming.

Tire Coverage

The tires supplied with your vehicleare covered by General Motorsagainst defects in material orworkmanship under the BaseWarranty Coverage. Wear-out is notconsidered a defect, and it may

Aftermarket Engine PerformanceEnhancement Products andModifications

Some aftermarket engineperformance products andmodifications promise a way toincrease the horsepower and torquelevels of your vehicle's powertrain.You should be aware that theseproducts may have detrimentaleffects on the performance and lifeof the engine, exhaust emissionsystem, transmission and drivetrain.The Duramax Turbo-Diesel Engine,Allison Automatic Transmission®

and drivetrain have been designedand built to offer industry leadingdurability and performance in themost demanding applications.Engine power enhancementproducts may enable the engine to

operate at horsepower and torquelevels that could damage, createfailure, or reduce the life of theengine, engine emission system,transmission and drivetrain.Damage failure, or reduced life ofthe engine, transmission emissionsystem, drivetrain or other vehiclecomponents caused by aftermarketengine performance enhancementproducts or modifications may notbe covered under your vehiclewarranty.

Sheet Metal Coverage

Sheet metal panels are coveredagainst corrosion and rust-throughas follows:

Corrosion : For Chevrolet andGMC, body sheet metal panels arecovered against rust for 3 years or60 000 kilometres, whichever comesfirst. For Buick, body sheet metalpanels are covered against rust for4 years or 80 000 kilometres,whichever comes first.

Rust-Through : For Chevrolet andGMC, any body sheet metal panelthat rusts through due to corrosion(an actual hole in the sheet metal) iscovered for up to 6 years or160 000 kilometres, whichevercomes first. This coverage onlyapplies to the body sheet metalpanels and not to other metalcomponents.

Rust-Through : For Buick, anybody sheet metal panel that ruststhrough due to corrosion (an actualhole in the sheet metal) is coveredfor up to 6 years, unlimitedkilometres. This coverage onlyapplies to the body sheet metalpanels and not to other metalcomponents.

Important: Cosmetic or surfacecorrosion (resulting from stonechips, dents, or scratches in thepaint, or failure to repair paintdamaged by stone chips, dents,or scratches in the paint) is notincluded in the sheet metalcoverage.

Chemical Paint Spotting

Some weather and atmosphericconditions can create a chemicalfallout. Airborne pollutants can fallupon and adhere to paintedsurfaces on your vehicle. Thisdamage can take two forms;blotchy, ringlet-shapeddiscolorations, and/or small irregulardark spots etched into the paintsurface.

Although no defect in the factoryapplied paint causes this, GeneralMotors of Canada Company willrepair, at no charge to the owner,the painted surfaces of new vehiclesdamaged by this fallout conditionwithin 12 months or20 000 kilometres of first delivery,whichever comes first.

Accessory Coverages

Most GM approved accessoriesmarketed and sold by GeneralMotors of Canada Company that arepermanently installed on a GMvehicle prior to delivery will becovered under the provisions of theBase Warranty Coverage of the

New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Inthe event GM accessories areinstalled after vehicle delivery or arereplaced under the new vehiclebase warranty, they will be covered(parts and labour) for the balance ofthe applicable portion of the NewVehicle Limited Warranty, or for12 months from the date ofinstallation or replacement,whichever is later.

GM accessories sold over thecounter, or those not requiringinstallation, will receive the standardAccessory Warranty for 12 monthsfrom the date of purchase,parts only.

GM Licensed and IntegratedBusiness Partner (IBP) Accessoriesare covered under theaccessory-specific manufacturer’swarranty and are not warranted byGM or its dealers.

Caution

This warranty excludes:

Any communications device thatbecomes unusable or unable tofunction as intended due tounavailability of compatiblewireless service or GPS satellitesignals.

What Is Not Covered

Tire and Wheel Damage or Wear

Normal tire wear or wear-out is notcovered. Tire wear is influenced bymany variables such as roadconditions, driving styles, vehicleweight, and tire construction.Uniform tire wear is a normalcondition, and is not considered adefect. Road hazard damage suchas punctures, cuts, snags, andbreaks resulting from potholeimpact, curb impact, or from otherobjects is not covered. Tire weardue to misalignment beyond thewarranty period is not covered.Also, damage from improper

inflation, overloading, spinning, aswhen stuck in mud or snow, tirechains, racing, improper mountingor dismounting, misuse, negligence,alteration, improper repair, accident,collision, fire, vandalism,or misapplication is not covered.Damage to wheels or tire sidewallscaused by automatic car washes orcleaning agents is not covered.

Damage Due to Bedliners

Owners of trucks with a bedliner,whether after-market or factoryinstalled, should expect that withnormal operation the bedlinerwill move.

This movement may cause finishdamage. Therefore, any damagecaused by the bedliner is notcovered under the terms of the NewVehicle Limited Warranty.

The factory spray in bedliner (RPOCGN) is not covered for a loss ofshine and luster or fading. Refer tothe Owner's Manual for moreinformation on spray in bedlinermaintenance.

Damage Due to Accident, Misuse,or Alteration

The New Vehicle Limited Warrantydoes not cover damage caused asthe result of any of the following:

. Collision, fire, theft, freezing,vandalism, riot, explosion,or objects striking the vehicle.

. Misuse of the vehicle such asdriving over curbs, overloading,racing, competition oroff-roading. Proper vehicle use isdiscussed in the Owner’sManual.

. Alteration, modification,or tampering to the vehicle,including, but not limited to thebody, chassis, powertrain,driveline, software, or othercomponents after final assemblyby GM.

. Coverages do not apply if theodometer has beendisconnected, its reading hasbeen altered, or mileage cannotbe determined.

. Installation of non-GM (GeneralMotors) parts.

. Water or fluid contamination.

. Damage resulting from hail,floods, windstorms, lightning andother environmental conditions.

. Alteration of glass parts byapplication of tinting films.

. Damage as a result of the failureto observe and follow thevehicle’s warning lights and/orgauges.

Important: This warranty is void onvehicles currently or previouslyregistered as salvaged, scrapped(irreparable), rebuilt, junked,or otherwise considered a total loss.

Damage or Corrosion Due toEnvironment, ChemicalTreatments, or AftermarketProducts

Damage caused by airborne fallout,rail dust, salt from sea air, salt orother materials used to control roadconditions, chemicals, tree sap,stones, hail, earthquake, water orflood, windstorm, lightning, the

Maintenance and Damage Due toInsufficient or ImproperMaintenance

All vehicles require periodicmaintenance. Maintenanceservices, such as those detailed inthe Owner’s Manual and thiswarranty booklet are at the owner'sexpense.

Vehicle lubrication, cleaning,or polishing are not covered. Failureof or damage to componentsrequiring replacement or repair dueto vehicle use, wear, exposure,or lack of maintenance is notcovered.

Damage caused by failure to followthe recommended maintenanceschedule intervals and/or failure touse or maintain proper fluids, fuel,lubricants, or refrigerants between

maintenance intervalsrecommended in the Owner’sManual is not covered.

Items such as:

. Audio System Cleaning

. Brake Pads and Linings

. Clutch Linings

. Coolants and Fluids

. Limited Slip Rear Axle Service

. Tire Rotation

. Wiper Inserts

are covered by the New VehicleLimited Warranty for up to 12 000kilometres; any replacement after12 000 kilometres is consideredmaintenance and is not covered aspart of the New Vehicle LimitedWarranty. Keyless Entry batteries(or other remote transmitter/receiverbatteries) and exterior incandescentbulbs are covered for up to12 months only; any replacementafter 12 months is considered

maintenance and is not covered aspart of the New Vehicle LimitedWarranty. The New Vehicle LimitedWarranty only covers componentswhen replacement or repair of thesecomponents is the result of a defectin material or workmanship.

Damage Due to Contaminated,Improper, or Poor Quality Fuel

Poor fuel quality or incorrect fuelmay cause driveability problemssuch as hesitation, lack of power,stalling, or failure to start. They mayalso degrade functionality of criticalexhaust emissions componentssuch as spark plugs, oxygensensors, and the catalytic converter.Damage from poor fuel quality,water contamination, or if thevehicle requires premium fuel,operating the vehicle on gasolinewith a Pump Octane less than a 91(R+M)/2, may not be covered.

Prohibited fuels are: Gasolinescontaining any methanol, MMT, anorganometallic octane enhancingadditive, and/or fuels containingmore than 15% ethanol in non-FlexFuel Vehicles (FFV).

Damage Due to Use or Impact

Windshield or glass cracks, chips,or scratches due to impact are notcovered. Windshield cracks will becovered for the first 12 months,regardless of mileage if caused bydefects in material or workmanship.

Lights, lenses, mirrors, paint, grille,moldings, and trim are not coveredfor cracks, chips, scratches, dents,dings, and punctures or tears as aresult of impact with other objects orroad hazards. In addition, cracks,chips, scratches, or other damageto the face of a radio or instrumentcluster from impact or foreignobjects are not covered.

Third Party Externally ConnectedElectrical Products

This warranty does not apply tohardware or software of a third partydevice that is connected to the

vehicle or its components, even ifintegrated or delivered with thevehicle. GM is not responsible forthe quality or accuracy of anyinformation, or service accessedthrough or from any third partydevice or platform. Softwaredistributed by GM inside or outsidethe vehicle (including, but not limitedto system software or applications)is not covered by this Warranty. GMdoes not warrant that connectionsto, from or through the vehicle willbe uninterrupted or error-free. Also,the user should back-up their dataand information frequently. GM isnot responsible for any loss ordamage to data or information madeavailable in connection with the useof the vehicle. In addition, thisWarranty does not apply: (a) toconsumable parts that are designedto diminish over time, unless failurehas occurred due to a defect inmaterials or workmanship; (b) todamage caused by use with anotherproduct or service; (c) to damagecaused by a third party device orservice (including upgrades andexpansions), or (d) to obsolescence

or lack of utility due toincompatibility with future versionsof external hardware or software,including, but not limited to mobiledevices.

Extra Expenses

Economic loss or extra expense isnot covered.

Examples include:

16 New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Application of after-manufacturerustproofing products may create anenvironment which reduces thecorrosion resistance built into yourvehicle. Repairs to correct damagecaused by such applications are notcovered under your New VehicleLimited Warranty.

Original Equipment Alterations

This warranty does not cover anydamage or failure resulting frommodification or alteration to thevehicle's original equipment asmanufactured or assembled byGeneral Motors.

Examples of the types of alterationsthat would not be covered include,but are not limited to, any non-GMtheft alarm, remote starting deviceor remote locking system, or thecutting, welding, or disconnecting ofthe vehicle's original equipmentparts and components. Also, thewarranty does not cover a rebuiltvehicle after it has suffered suchextensive collision damage in anaccident that it was written-off ordeemed to be written-off, even if the

rebuilt vehicle uses undamagedparts and components from thewritten-off vehicle.

Additionally, General Motors doesnot warranty non-GM parts,calibrations, and/or softwaremodifications. The use of parts,control module calibrations,software modifications, and/or anyother alterations not issued throughGeneral Motors of CanadaCompany will void the warrantycoverage for those components thatare damaged or otherwise affectedby the installation of the non-GMpart, control module calibration,software modifications, and/or otheralteration.

The only exception is that non-GMparts labeled “Certified to EPAStandards” are covered by theEmissions Performance Warranty.

Recreation Vehicle and SpecialBody Alterations

Installations or alterations to theoriginal equipment vehicle (orchassis) as manufactured andassembled by General Motors are

not covered by this warranty. Thebody company, assembler,or equipment installer, is solelyresponsible for warranties on thebody or equipment and anyalterations to any of the parts,components, systems,or assemblies installed by GM.Examples include, but are notlimited to, special body installationor conversion (such as recreationalvehicles), the installation of anynon-GM part, cutting, welding or thedisconnecting of original equipmentvehicle or chassis parts andcomponents, extension of thewheelbase, suspension anddriveline modifications and axleadditions.

GM recommends havingmaintenance performed by anauthorized GM dealership. GMdealer technicians are specificallytrained to maintain and repair GMvehicles. They stay current on thelatest service information throughGM technical bulletins, servicepublications and training courses.Many are also certified through thetechnical training process. Inaddition, your GM dealer hasspecial tools, equipment, computersoftware and complete access toproduct updates, applicable to yourvehicle to ensure fast and accuratediagnostics. Your dealer can alsoperform a thorough assessment witha multi-point vehicle health check torecommend when your vehicle mayneed attention. This level of serviceis only available at an authorizedGM dealership.

Chevrolet Volt, Bolt EV andMalibu Hybrid Warranty

For vehicles sold in Canada, inaddition to the Base WarrantyCoverage described in this booklet,General Motors of Canada

Company will cover repairs tocorrect defects related to materialsor workmanship in the followingspecified components for ChevroletVolt, Bolt EV, and Malibu Hybrid for8 years or 160,000 kilometres,whichever comes first, from theoriginal delivery date of the vehicle.

This warranty is in addition to theexpress conditions and warrantiesdescribed previously. The coverageand benefits described under therest of the "New Vehicle LimitedWarranty" are not extended oraltered because of this additionalWarranty.

Drive Motor Battery Coverage

For Chevrolet Volt and Bolt EV thiswarranty covers the propulsionbattery. For Malibu Hybrid thiswarranty covers the drive motorbattery and internal components,modules, and fan.

Like all batteries, the amount ofenergy that the high voltage“propulsion” battery can store willdecrease with time and kilometresdriven. Depending on use, the

battery may degrade as little as10% to as much as 40% of capacityover the warranty period. Thisdegradation is normal and is notconsidered a defect.

Repair (If Necessary)

. If warranty service requiresrepair, Chevrolet has a networkof certified dealers who aretrained to perform repairs onVolt, Bolt EV, and Malibu Hybrid.

Replace (If Necessary)

. If warranty service requiresreplacement, the high voltagebattery may be replaced witheither a new or factoryrefurbished high voltage batterywith an energy capacity (kWhstorage) level of at least 60% ofthe battery capacity when thevehicle was first delivered.

Your Electric Propulsion batterywarranty replacement may notreturn your vehicle to an “asnew” condition, but it will makeyour Chevrolet Volt or Bolt EVfully operational appropriate toits age and mileage.

20 Things to Know About the New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Warranty Repairs —Component Exchanges

In the interest of customersatisfaction, General Motors ofCanada Company may offerexchange service on some vehiclecomponents. This service isintended to reduce the amount oftime your vehicle is not available foruse due to repairs. Componentsused in exchange are servicereplacement parts that may be new,remanufactured, or refurbished.

Remanufactured parts meet GMapproved service partsrequirements and are made frompreviously used components in aprocess that involves disassembly,inspection, cleaning, update ofsoftware and replacement parts asappropriate, testing and reassembly.

Refurbished parts meet GMapproved service part requirementsand are previously used parts thatare inspected, cleaned, tested, andrepackaged.

All exchange components usedmeet GM standards and arewarranted the same as newcomponents. Examples of the typesof components that might beserviced in this fashion include:engine and transmissionassemblies, instrument clusterassemblies, radios, compact discplayers, batteries, and powertraincontrol modules.

Maintenance and WarrantyService Records

Retain receipts coveringperformance of regularmaintenance. These receipts andrecords should be transferred toeach subsequent owner of thisvehicle. Pre-Delivery Service

Defects in or damage to themechanical, electrical, sheet metal,paint, trim and other components ofa new vehicle may occur at thefactory or while it is beingtransported to the dealership.Normally, any defect or damageoccurring during assembly isdetected and corrected at thefactory during the inspectionprocess. In addition, dealerships areobligated to inspect each vehiclebefore delivery. They repair anyuncorrected factory defects and anytransit damage detected before thevehicle is delivered to you.

Any defects still present at the timea new vehicle is delivered to youare covered by the warranty. If youfind any such defects when you takedelivery, please advise your dealerwithout delay. General Motors of CanadaCompany warrants that, within thespecified warranty period, it willcover repairs of any defect inmaterial or workmanship whichcause the vehicle to fail to conformwith the Emission Regulations underthe Canadian EnvironmentalProtection Act.

How to Determine theApplicable Emission ControlSystems Warranty

Federal or provincial agencies mayrequire different emission controlsystem warranties for light dutytrucks depending on whether thetruck is certified with a light duty orheavy duty emission control system.

To determine emission eligibility:

1. Determine if the vehicle has agasoline or diesel engine.

2. Locate the underhood emissioncontrol label located inside theengine compartment on the aircleaner assembly or theengine.

3. The information on the bottomleft side of the label describesif the vehicle has a light orheavy duty emissions controlsystem.

Replacement Parts

The emission control systems ofyour vehicle, were designed, builtand tested using genuine GM parts†and the vehicle is certified as beingin conformity with the EmissionRegulations under the CanadianEnvironmental Protection Act.Accordingly, it is recommendedthat any replacement parts usedfor maintenance or for the repairof emission control systems benew, genuine GM parts.

The warranty obligations are notdependent upon the use of anyparticular brand of replacementparts. The owner may elect to usenon-genuine GM parts forreplacement or repair if thoseparts are equivalent to GM partsand carry any required emissionscertification. Use of replacementparts that are not certified or ofequivalent quality may impair theeffectiveness of emission controlsystems.

If other than new, genuine GM partsare used for maintenancereplacements or for the repair of

components affecting emissioncontrol, the owner should assurehimself/herself that such parts arewarranted by their manufacturer tobe equivalent to genuine GeneralMotors parts in performance anddurability and carry any requiredemissions certification.

Maintenance and Repairs

See your Owner's Manual for theschedule of required periodicmaintenance and inspection for yourvehicle.

Warranty repairs must be performedby an authorized GM dealer exceptin a situation where the vehicleowner is significantlyinconvenienced and a warrantedpart or a warranty station is notreasonably available to the vehicleowner. You are responsible for

presenting your vehicle to a GMdealer selling your vehicle line assoon as a problem exists.

If in a situation where you aresignificantly inconvenienced, and itis necessary to have repairsperformed by other than anauthorized GM dealership, and youbelieve the repairs are covered bythe Emission Control SystemsWarranty, take the replaced partsand your receipt to your GMdealership handling your vehicle linefor reimbursement consideration.

Receipts and records covering theperformance of regular maintenanceor emergency repairs should beretained in the event questions ariseconcerning maintenance. Thesereceipts and records should betransferred to each subsequentowner of this vehicle. GeneralMotors of Canada Company may, inits sole discretion, deny a warrantyclaim if a failure to performscheduled maintenance issuspected to have resulted in thefailure of a warranted part. 34 Customer Satisfaction Procedure

Your satisfaction and goodwill areimportant to your dealership and toGeneral Motors. Normally, anyquestions or concerns with the salestransaction or the operation of yourvehicle will be resolved by yourdealership's Sales or ServiceDepartments. Sometimes, however,despite the best intentions of allconcerned, misunderstandings canoccur. If your concern has not beenresolved to your satisfaction, thefollowing steps should be taken:

STEP ONE : Discuss yourconcern with a member of dealermanagement. Normally, concernscan be resolved at that level. If theconcern has already been reviewedwith the Sales, Service, or PartsManager, contact the owner of thedealership or the GeneralManager.
