Every Monday evening, weather permitting, a group of members have decided to gather at 7 PM at Rick Hansen Park in Regina to do a nice light walk in the park! Bring your family, friends, dog, etc…! All are welcome. Check our facebook page for cancellations due to the weather!!! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_33295884776&ap=1

NEW WEEKLY WALKING CLUB!

The SBSG would like to offer the Craving Change™ Workshop 4 week program to anyone interested in participating. There will be a minimal fee charged to cover the costs of workbooks and program materials. If you are interested in participating in this program please contact Hilary at [email protected] or 551-7532.

This is a How-To program that provides participants with the tools and resources needed to effectively change the relationship they have with food! It is not a diet or weight loss program. It is a helpful resource for anyone participating in a weight loss or weight management program because it helps participants to understand the way they think about food and the way they interact with food. This program also reminds participants they are the ones with the power to change their lives. The choice is theirs.

The 2011 Member Search! We would like to post a map on our website with key contacts for members outside of Regina. We have members all over the province who would like to chat or form a local support network a little bit closer to home! If you are interested in being the key contact for your area, please contact Tess at [email protected] or 529-2850 after 5 or weekends, or leave a message any other time, and provide your name and email address. If you have had or are scheduled to have bariatric surgery, it would also be helpful to list what type of surgery option you have chosen/had. As the contacts come in we will add them to our interactive online map!
