The young person nominated must be between the ages of seven (7) and eighteen (18) and have been a student for at least part of the previous twelve-month period in a primary, elementary, or high school within the Diocese of Grand Falls. Sunday Reflection Today we are invited to reflect on one of the most
profound truths of our faith, the mystery of the
Most Holy Trinity: the belief that there is One God
in Three Persons. We acknowledge this mystery
each time we bless ourselves with the Sign of the
Cross. In the mystery of the Trinity, in that eternal
dialogue between the Father and the Son in the
Holy Spirit, we experience the intimacy of God.
Just as these Three Persons are in communion and
love with one another, belief in a Triune God calls
us to commit ourselves to one another, to listen and
speak with respect to each other, to relate in new
ways as spouses, parents, friends, co-workers.
Belief in a Triune God has the possibility of
transforming all our relationships.
