~~~~All Are Welcome Here~All Are Welcome Here~All Are Welcome Here~All Are Welcome Here~ Let our overall thought and intention be for all
those who feel alienated from our church. For all
those who through our thought, word or deed, or
our omission of thought, word and deed feel
abandoned and unloved. May we be a community
of reconciliation and peace. May we accept all peo-
ple, no matter who they are, no matter where
they’ve been, no matter what their story is. May we
be Christ for others. May all be welcomed here.
Parish Mission Statement The mission of the Catholic communities of St.
Blaise and St. Brendan is to be a people united in
the Eucharist and dedicated to spreading the Good
News of God’s saving love to all. We seek to en-
courage the full and active participation of all
God’s children and be a place where they can come
to know, love, and serve God. Guided by the Holy
Spirit, we give witness to the teachings of Jesus
Christ by actively living the corporal and spiritual
works of mercy, thereby being signs of God’s love
in the world.
The Seminarian Collection~ This weekend’s Seminarian collection supports the formation and training of seminarians in the Archdiocese of Boston, we pray, as your future priests. Boston is blessed with three local seminaries: Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary in Weston, Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton, and Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Chestnut Hill. These institutions rely upon the generosity of all parishion-ers within the Archdiocese of Boston to continue the important work of priestly formation, and to help meet our annual operating budgets. The occasion of this collection provides a good opportunity to encour-age vocations for the priesthood and for religious life. We invite you to learn more about this collection at www.VocationsBoston.org
“Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.” The disciples caught that fire and went forth speaking about the wondrous
things God had done. What are some of the wonder-ful things God has done for you? Pray that the Holy Spirit will kindle the fire of his love in your hearts. Then, like the disciples go forth and share God’s gifts with others.
Abundant Hope is a Christian pro-life ministry serving the Greater Attleboro, Southeastern MA and Cape Cod communities. Abundant Hope exists to share the love of Christ and to offer free services to women and families before, during and after pregnancy. Support Abundant Hope Pregnancy Resource Center by joining us in the Baby Bottle Drive. It’s as simple as taking a baby bottle, found in the baskets by the doors, home and filling it up with your donation of change, cash or checks and then returning it back to the church for de-livery. Your contribution makes significant changes in the lives of families in our community. The baby bottles should be returned no later than Sunday, June 17th. To learn more about Abundant Hope or to request ser-vices, please visit their website: https://ahprc.org or call 508-455-0425. Thank you for your support.
We are very excited to announce a wonderful com-
munity service project that Akshara Shankar, a ninth
grader from Holliston High School, has designed as
to get the word out about their specific needs. She
has designed a website and is in the process of de-
veloping an app that can be downloaded. Please visit
https://manyhandsfoodpantry.webnode.com/ and
register to receive monthly updates about the cur-
rent needs of Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry. Please
spread the word to your friends and family. Thank
you Akshara for your hard work in helping us reduce
hunger in our little part of the world!!
Thank you to all the Bellingham Postal workers, parishioners and neighbors who participated in last Saturday’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive and to all who volunteered to lift, sort and organ-
ize the donations. Thank you to all who organized, volunteered and par-ticipated in our recent game night fundraiser; it was a wonderful success.
