Group Volunteer Opportunity Teams are needed to help with youth dinner on Sunday evenings. Dinner is served at 5:00 with teams usually coming in at 4:00 to prep/cook, serve and clean up. Most often they are finished by 6:00pm. Each team has a theme: taco, pasta, hot dog, lasagna, etc. So the question of what to make is already decided! This is a great way to volunteer with our youth ministry! To be part of the youth dinner team, contact Meg Hitchman at [email protected].

Warm Welcome to Rev. Abe Smith and Rev. Ed Volfe We welcome our new associate pastors, Abe Smith and Ed Volfe. Abe is the preaching pastor for Wellspring Contemporary Worship. PRELUDE “Meditation”

by Rheinberger Lynn Alfers, organist

*CALL TO WORSHIP

The light of God surrounds us. The love of God enfolds us. The power of God protects us. Wherever we are, God is.

*OPENING HYMN No 64 “Holy, Holy, Holy!”

*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH No 883

We are not alone, we live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the church: to celebrate God’s presence, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen.

*GLORIA PATRI

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost: as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

BAPTISM (9:00) Holden Charles Quinn

son of Caleb & Hallye Quinn

PASTORAL PRAYER AND LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
