Corner Covers! Friday, April 10th 2015 Journal Entry #3 My partner, Deborah, and I have decided to each try different products to spend time productively, and so, Deborah did the corner cover and I did the fake insect intestines. After many trials, I finished making some fake insect intestines but realized that the final product of it looked too unprofessional. While Deborah, after many trials, got the corner covers working pretty well. Our decision was made quite quickly: Our goal is to get concerned parents to buy our product and it will have an impact on not only the parents, but also the children. We are now nearly done with the project; we only have to make the video now. We tried many different ‘recipes’ and our final one was (approximately): 25ml of glue, 15ml of Borax, 20ml of Sta-Flo, 9 spoons of starch. Our product is, at first, squishy, but later becomes a little bit like rubber. The only difficulty we had was getting the idea of the product finalized because it was extremely hard to think of something that other’s weren’t doing. At first, our product was pearl white, but to make it children-friendly, we added a little bit of color. Hopefully, our product will look good to the Dream On company. :)
