Comments on any above questions:Throughout my time in Congress, I have been fighting for the priorities of students, workers, and middle-class families and working every day to make sure the Americandream remains within their and their children's reach.I was one of 57 House Members to oppose the repeal of Glass-Steagall in 1999, and haveaggressively worked to hold Wall Street accountable since they led our country to anear economic catastrophe in 2008.[ am the only Member of Congress from New England who serves on the HouseEducation and Workforce Committee. In that capacity, I have expanded student aid andstrongly opposed Republican-led efforts to undermine workers right to collectivelybargain.I strongly supported the Recovery Act and urged action on the President's AmericanJobs Act. [ also have co-sponsored constitutional amendments to overturn CitizensUnited and, since first elected, introduced legislation to implement the public financingof political campaigns.Meanwhile, if elected, my opponent would be supporting the misguided, radical andobstructionist policies of the House Republican Congress that is at war with women ,science, evidence, and investments in priorities that make our country a better place tolive, work and raise a family.
