Oversees the work of subordinates in preparing menu items, such as soups, meats, vegetables, fruits, breads, salads, and salad bar for consumption through the use of cafeteria equipment and cooking/baking processes. Inspects equipment for cleanliness and functional operation. Works with the Food Service Supervisor to implement NSLP (National School Lunch Program) compliant menus (breakfast, lunch & snack).
