    Many coaches want to get to the top quick. Many

    believe coordinators get the jobs. The truth is theguys who have worked for the best will get the

    job over others.

    If you need to travel cross town or take a stepdown in duties to work for the top coach in your

    area DO IT!

    Its not only about who YOU are, Its about whoYOU are AND who you have worked with!

    Be Prepared Start Now!

    Begin to write down your philosophy. Offense,Defense, Special Teams.

    Start to put YOUR program together on paper.

    Add to it each week, month and year. Use your head coach and other coaches as

    resources and write down good ideas and putthem in your document.

    Create your Program outline and have a copyfor each person on the interview panel.

    Look Professional

    Dress for success

    Wear a suit and tie for your interview. Set thetone you are professional, organized and ready

    for the challenge.

    Many coaches will wear polo shirts and comeinto an interview with very little documentation.

    They expect their resume will get them the job.

    You must be confident your preparation will getyou the job.
