- 50 kilometers north of Yangon.
- Located at 17°N, 98°E and 7 meters elevated above sea level.
- Since the centre is located in delta region, enjoying monsoon rain,
it can represent the 3 biggest rice bowl regions of Myanmar
comprising Yangon, Bago and Ayeyarwady Divisions with the total
area of 4 million hectares.
