OverallCustomer Service Experience
I was generally pleased with the customer service
experience during my recent shopping trip to Target.
During my 1 ½ hour trip, I encountered:
• Was asked if I needed help finding anything, when I was looking for
batteries in the electronics department; the store’s team member
found what I needed quickly.
• Was asked if I needed help finding anything while I was shopping in
the grocery department; I did not need help at that time.
• I was able to scan an item that did not have a price displayed, at
one of many price scanner aisle units located throughout the store.
We use the price scanners in just about every visit. Therefore, they
are very convenient and time-saving (you don’t have to track down
a team member for help).
• I was not “pestered” too many times during my shopping trip.

• I noticed there were many team members, located in
just about in every department. If I had needed help,
it wouldn’t be hard to locate someone.
• I have been in another chain store and had to walk
circles around the store, looking for someone to
assist me.

locationThe Rapid City Target store location is laid out in an
attractive and smart way: • There are always a few grocery items up front that
are visible upon entrance, as well as when you are
ready to check-out. • The store is comfortable and inviting to be in, as well
as easy to navigate. • The main aisles are wide enough to hold multiple
shopping carts.

Immediately upon entrance into Rapid City’s
Target, is the dollar value section that
appears to bring in high traffic along all of
the dollar priced bins. We always stop there
first!

Valentine’s Day Display
The entire back east corner of the store
was designated to a Valentine’s Day
display area. Target is smart at designing
each holiday with well thought-out,
organized, and visually appealing large
displays of an assortment of fun products
for people of all ages.

store, there was
an aisle strictly
displaying
products in
bigger bulk sized
packaging.

It appeared that
most clearance
items located
throughout the
store (with the
exception of
clothing), are
located in the
aisle end caps
which make it
very convenient
when looking for
clearance-priced
items.

The store aisles and shelves
appeared very clean and organized
during my visit. I also noticed there
were team members located
throughout the store, re-organizing
shelves in their respective
departments.
