COMPLICATIONS WITH PARTS
• Locating specific parts that were needed to create LED Board
• Calculating needed resistor value according to chosen LED lights
• Make sure purchase was within our budget
• Arrival of parts within a timely manner
BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS1. Test parts on Breadboard
2. Solder LEDs to prefboard
3. Solder controlling prefboard
4. Wire controlling prefboard and LED board together
5. Wire controlling prefboard to Arduino board
6. Program Arduino board
7. Upload code
REVOLUTIONIZED DESIGN • Concept of Multiplexing: Splitting information
in to little pieces and sending it one by one
• Creator of the 24x6 modified the board made easier to wire
WIRING MADE SIMPLE3 pins Many shift registers 8 outputs each
• Saves pins and keeps it simple multiplies number of outputs
COMPLICATIONS WITH BUILDING
• Lyrics are not in sync with music
• Programming Arduino board to incorporate said music
• Burnt out LED’s
• Program Arduino board to incorporate our desired modifications
