4.) How did you use new media technologies in the construction
and research, planning and evaluation stages?
This year (A2) we managed to get the chance to use many other hi – Tec and upgraded equipment that we did not get the chance to use last year which was good as it gave us a insight and a chance to try new things and learn new techniques.
We got the chance to use BLOGGER and SURVEY MONKEY again which was really useful and beneficial to our music videos.
The Next few slides will show pictures of new technologies we have used this year. Which has also been very helpful in the process of making our music videos.
This is a new software we used to edit our
music videos.
Used for when we took our pictures for our
music video magazine.
We used this to shoot our music video. Which was a lot of work but managed to finish
well.
We used Bluetooth to send pictures from our phone to the computer to then put it
on our blogs.
Equipment used to hold up the camera. Helps shoot at
other angles e.g. Low shots.
RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!!!
These are some of the more important research factors that we used to help us to be successful with our music video.For example I had to research music as well as get audience feedback these are some of the sources I used.
We did research on music videos. One of the best ways to do this was through the research of Channel 4’s Greatest video.
This music video was on the greatest music videos of all time this was a main part of our research. The video was very effective because Sinead O’Connor shows her emotions that could be kept in and she cries in the video to show her real emotions which makes the storyline believable to the audience so we know that when we make our own music video we need to make it clear and believable.

This is where unsigned artist put their music on which was an option we could of used at first for our music video.
This is on of the sources where we did our audience research on where we produced some useful questionnaires which helped us with our audience feedback.
