Cheers: Bacco celebrates 13 years with deals for diners Melody Baetens, The Detroit News 12:41 p.m. EDT April 23, 2015 Bacco Ristorante in Southfield has been serving fine Italian food for 13 years and is celebrating its odd-year anniversary with a special menu. Lunch or dinner guests can choose from a special menu of $13 entrees May 4-15 (except for Saturdays). It's an attractive deal, considering most of Bacco's entrees are north of $20. Among the featured entrees are strozzapreti norcina with sausage, truffle oil, tomatoes and cream. Other pasta dishes are tomato basil gnocchi, cavatelli with wild mushroom ragu and braised beef brisket pappardelle (those very wide, velvety noodles). Meat lovers can try the flank steak, house burger or lamb meatballs with white polenta and grilled scallions. There's also a salmon and white fish dish. Since debuting Bacco in 2002, chef Luciano Del Signore has also opened Bigalora wood-fired pizza restaurants (which all have fantastic craft cocktails, as well as Italian dishes) in Southfield, Royal Oak and Ann Arbor.
