People enjoy clean and pleasant surroundings. This is definitely true for public areas and other places that are used a lot by the public. The Jadon cleaning company specialises in the cleaning and maintenance of surfacing in heavy-use areas. Chewing- gum removal and the intensive and pore-deep cleaning of paving and floors is everyday work for us. And the result is amazing! Often sweeping machines alone are used in public areas. This looks clean, because the litter disappears. However, actually, the paving itself becomes increasingly dirtier, because the fine dirt is swept deep into the pores of the block paving.

Besides fine dust, weather conditions, pedestrians, motorised traffic and algae cause a layer of grime and the paving starts to look tired and dreary.

This is how it works

The Jadon cleaning process involves:

• the in-depth cleaning of floors and paving, removing grime• removing chewing gum• removing stains and food• removing oil and grease stains• removing algae and moss from block paving and joints• killing weeds using boiling hot water

The cleaning process is based on steam and hot, high-pressure water. During the cleaning process, the water used – and the dirt – is immediately collected by suction. So, the dirt really is removed, not just moved elsewhere!

The entire process is screened off, which means that there is vir-tually no splashing at all. So, the Jadon machine causes virtually no nuisance at all for passers-by.

Difficult-to-reach places, like corners, around poles and under benches and bins are cleaned thoroughly. A manually-propelled piece of equipment is used for this purpose, which is connected to the machine. After the machine has finished cleaning, the whole process is repeated in order to remove any remaining dirt.

The technique developed by Jadon makes it possible to clean any fixed floor. So, none of the wide range of paving and surfacing used in public areas are a problem. The cleaning process is optimised for any base.

The first time the Jadon machine is used, the dirt removed has of-ten been built up over many years. The results are always amazing! Everyone notices the difference straight away and the streetscape is hugely upgraded. So, the objective is always achieved: satisfied visitors, businesses and customers.

Innovative systems for an optimal result

The Jadon cleaning process is based on hot water, steam and high pressure. Using the right combi-nation of different cleaning techniques, all sorts of dirt are treated and removed in just one treat-ment process.

The cleaning water released is sucked up directly from the surface and filtered in the machine. This means that the water and dirt can be car-ried away separately.

The machine can be operated completely independently and only needs a water draw-off point somewhere close by.

Via GPS/GPRS, Jadon machines are constantly in communication with the home base. This tells the home base where a machine is and which type of cleaning operation is being used. This information is saved in our database and can be retrieved at any given time. In the event of a de-fect or error, the machine can be read-out ‘remotely’, which facilitates a rapid response and downtime is kept to a minimum.

The environment

In order to spare the environment as much as possible, we do not use any cleaning products or chemicals – not even ‘environmentally friendly’ or ‘biologically degradable’ products.

So, this definitely does not contain any hazardous substances, such as softening agents for chewing gum or emulsifiers. Jadon is unique in the market in this respect! Our machines are equipped with the latest diesel technology and a high-quality electronically-controlled exhaust gas filter system. This system ensures that the emission of soot particles (fine dust) is reduced by more than 99%! This means that our machines exceed the Euro � norm. Our machines also comply with the European limit values (TRGS���,VERT) for working in poorly-ventilated areas, such as car parks, industrial spaces and tunnels.

Energy efficient

The energy released during the process in the form of steam and heat is immediately recovered. As a result, no less than �0% of the energy needed to heat the water is recovered.

Clean cities are attractive cities

Attractive shopping areas are increasingly being created using high-quality decorative paving, often in light colours. At the same time, the number of people living in cities is growing, as is the flow of visitors to them. So, in time, the paving becomes grimy and the value of the colours and design used declines. As a result, the appearance of the shopping centre deteriorates and the quality of the streetscape is put under pressure. Chewing gum – often present in large quantities – is a major source of irritation too. Sweeping, or another conventional cleaning method, is no longer enough; an in-depth Jadon cleaning is what is needed.

A clean floor with fresh colours keeps a city attractive for residents and visitors alike. Added to this, a clean environment reduces the likelihood of vandalism and does not encourage people to litter again.

Jadon machines are very manoeuvrable and have been specially designed to pass through narrow openings and under shop awnings. As an extra service, Jadon can also arrange for the removal of fly-posting and graffiti and the cleaning of street furniture and bins.

Result: A clean and attractive shopping area, free of chewing gum and other dirt. Achieved quickly and professionally, with the minimum of disruption.

Train stations and airports

The presence of a large number of pedestrians in a small surface area means a high level of grime, particularly in areas where people are waiting for any length of time, with food, soft drinks, chewing gum and cigarettes. However, the public does expect these places to be clean, tidy and safe. Jadon’s unique cleaning process is an ideal way to act quickly and thoroughly against dirt, without causing any disruption.

Car parks

Flooring is playing an increasingly important role in car-park design. Coatings in various colours, often light, are winning ground over the conventional concrete floor. Jadon ensures that concrete floors and coating floors are cleaned thoroughly. Floors are cleaned deep into the pores with hot water, which lifts off and sucks up oil traces. The hazardous (fine) dust is also removed during this treatment.

Chemicals are not used during this cleaning process either. This rules out any damage to floors or problems in the oil and grease trap as a result of solvents (emulsification).

Our machines are:- equipped with four-wheel drive for the easy negotiation of steep and slippery inclines- Suitable for vertical clearance of two metres, and- Fitted with a soot filter, which extracts 99% of all soot from the exhaust gases.

Thanks to the machine’s extensive suction capacity and hot water, floors have a short drying time and garages can quickly be put back into use.
