About us

I am Simone Petrucci, 28 years old, President of the section Trasimeno of Italia Nostra Onlus. Italia Nostra is the oldest Italian NGO, born in 1951 in Rome. The NGO is involved in the promotion of the “culture of conservation” of urban landscape, rural landscape, monuments and the environment in general.

Con il Patrocinio del Ministero dell’Istruzione, Università e Ricerca, del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, del Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare 

Italia Nostra Castiglione del Lago had taken part in a National Seminaries with 10 more section.

It is a refresh‐course for adults, teachers and free‐worker of the sector.

The aim of the course is know, promote and improve the every aspect concerning landscape through multimedia methodologies, with a multidisciplinary approach.

Prof. Lucilla Gregori, University of Perugia presenting “Emotional Landscape: route between art, literature and science, with focus on The Geology of Wine of Goethe.

Prof. Alberto Melelli, University of Perugia presenting “Example of Historical landscape in central Italy”. Geographical, historical and human approach.

Landascape Laboratories and Educational project

Educational and didactical path through the Martani Mountains. This educational project involved the Municipality of Giano dell’Umbria, Laboratorio del Cittadino Onlus, and the Italian Young Geologist Association.

People are improved to read the different aspect of landscape with the 5 sense and, one laboratories each sense. Is a Geoturistical Routecreated to sensitize the local community about the natural‐cultural heritage.

Historical and artistic approach about the Trasimeno Landscape 2 million Years ago.This work was realized in collaboration with formation center, school, association and local community.

With this interdisciplinary work we want to show how Trasimeno landscape is changed during the time… all through arts and natural laboratories.

Conferences-recent activities

9th April Italia Nostra with Laboratorio del Cittadino, Centro di Educazione Regionale al Paesaggio, Gal, Municipality of Castiglione del Lago and the Minister of culture, organized a conferences to present the first book of Centro del Paesaggio concerning “Path between myth and archeology on Trasimeno Landscape.During this day a lot of expert, politicians and university teacher explained the importance of historical traces in the Trasimeno area, from Romanian to etruschian.

Italia Nostra with Laboratorio del Cittadino, Centro di Educazione Regionale al Paesaggio, Municipality of Castiglione del Lago and the Minister of culture, organized a national conferences to present the new tools and instruments to promote and better communicate the cultural and landascape heritage.During this day a lot of expert, politicians and university teacher explained the importance ofThe communication in the field of the promotion of the natural, tangible and intangible heritage.
