Theres some dependency on increased tropical activity in the western North Atlantic to cause a buoyant warm producing ridge over the Northeast and that issue is in question. The U.S. is generally dry which could cause an even warmer outlook than indicated. The Great Plains are mostly dry.

Comment: Questions on how warm the Northeast becomes and some forecast

models are warmer than indicated. There’s some dependency on increased tropical

activity in the western North Atlantic to cause a buoyant warm producing ridge

over the Northeast and that issue is in question. The U.S. is generally dry which

could cause an even warmer outlook than indicated. The Great Plains are mostly

dry.
