FOR THE INTELLECTUAL MILLIONAIRE WHO HAS SEEN AND EXPE- RIENCED EVERYTHING ELSE… NOW THERE IS CAMELOT CASTLE For those who think they have seen and heard it all….think again. Some say it is the stunning work of artist Ted Stourton that is caus- ing the flow of private jets into Newquay airport. And it’s true that the prices that Stourton is now getting for his paintings in the sec- ondary market are the investment talk of the modern fine art world. Collectors from Chelsea, London, Beverly Hills, California, the Dutch collectors of grand masters and even the most discerning Swiss collectors are beating a path to his private studio. (And Stourton’s studio without a doubt commands one of the most stunning positions of any artist’s stu- dio in the world.) Some say that it is the unique location and natural beauty of Camelot Castle and the history and the story that it foreshadows that is captivating the imagination of the most refined minds that the world has to offer. Some say it is the exquisite cuisine, cooked by five star chefs flown in from Dubai, experienced in a cliff top restaurant overlooking the Atlantic with one of the most dra- matic and finest views in all creation that has these connoisseurs of life finding their way here. But some are going still further and say- ing that at Camelot lies a jewel, so unique, and that at its heart lies a spiritual evolution and wisdom and a precise high- er intelligence accessable to all, that many who have come here have sensed and that some who journey here are indeed actively seeking. The founder of the project Mr John Mappin explains it this way “There are many types of people that come to Camelot Castle. The type we love are completely genuine, they come in friendship and are genuine seekers of beauty. Such people find Camelot fascinating, they love the beauty of the place in all its forms and this type often has the most incredible wins on arrival. As the project has evolved we have become very fortunate and seem to be constantly surrounded by our friends. It does make for a very warm and conducive atmosphere. I am sure that this is part of what makes Camelot so uniqueAt this time we do have some unique abilities and truths at Camelot Castle and we are able and are delighted to be able to dispel many of the mysteries that have been plaguing mankind for centuries. Mystery causes a great deal of stress and unhappi- ness and so when these get cleared up for someone they can indeed experience a tremendous amount of relief. It is quite priceless.” It is little wonder then that in these days of celebri- ty overload and myspace addiction, that simple truths, the extraordinary natural beauty of Tintagel, Cornwall and the expressions of artistic beauty that flow from Mr Stourton’s canvasses could be causing so much momentum and word of mouth for Camelot Castle; and indeed are causing not a few millionaires to alter the course of their Gulfstream jets this summer, from Nice Airport and the beaches of Monaco and StTropez, to expe- rience an entirely different experience at Tintagel. Without a doubt Camelot Castle is a completely unique experience and until you have experienced it for yourself you will not entirely understand it. WHY DO WE PRINT POSITIVE NEWS?IT’S VERY SIMPLE. BECAUSE OF YOU.

WHAT IS VALIDATED in the societyincreases and you get more of it. What isinvalidated you get less of. A society getswhat it puts its attention on.

Take a walk around your local com-munity and ask yourself this simple ques-tion. Is it an ideal scene?

At Independent Local NewspapersGroup we are dedicated to the creationand maintaining of ideal scenes. Wherethere is an ideal scene occurring we helpmaintain it. Where a scene is not ideal wehelp to put an ideal one there. We knowthat ideal scenes are possible and westrive to create them both in our busi-nesses and in the environments in whichwe operate.

Now, before you get any idea thatpositive news is wishy washy news, lowimpact, or news that does not count, thinkagain.

When we expose (as we have done)the simple fact that thousands of childrenacross the UK are being incorrectly pre-scribed drugs such as Ritalin and other

psychiatric drugs based on a false diagno-sis of completely bogus made up disorders(add/adhd) for which there is no scientificproof whatsoever, by psychiatrists whoeither have criminal intentions or who arepersonally glib and have been wilfullymiseducated by drug companies, that’spositive. You see, mothers, fathers andhonest concerned people can read aboutthings like this and start doing somethingabout it and as a result we then end upwith less kids on Ritalin who do better inschool and, eventually, less drug addictsin your community.

Yes, there is a connection and it doesaffect you.

And such truth ripples out through com-munities through word of mouth, acrossthe internet and into people’s homes inLondon and around the world.

So we really appreciate your supportof our Newspaper Group. Every reader, every advertiser, and every ally in theworld that we have helps. All your goodintentions and actions towards us areextremely valuable. We believe that what

we are doing is valuable. We mainly enjoyand like to point out the positive goodpeople that are doing great things in thecommunity locally so if you do knowabout anyone who is doing well and whoshould be validated for their good actionsplease take the time to write to me per-sonally. We always try to do somethingand I always reply to such letters person-ally.

One more thing, we are interested tomeet and work with more journalists thatagree with the above purpose who wouldlike to work full or part time on reallypositive high impact stories, journaliststhat can and want to help us create andmaintain ideal scenes. Please write to meat [email protected]

CAMELOT CASTLE...RELAX

IT’S YOUR VERY OWN CASTLE...FEEL AT HOME AMONG FRIENDS

WHAT IS IT THAT REALLY CAUSES US to experience true relaxation?A change of environment? New Ideas? An ancient truth? Excellentfood? Fine art? The most dramatic coastline in Britain? Getting backto the beauty of nature? A revitalised sense of purpose? A stunningHistorical environment? Tapping into one’s deepest creativeresources? Or just feeling at home among friends?

At Camelot Castle one experiences all that and more.Standing on the Cornish headland by Tintagel, the Historical birthplace of King Arthur has come to life. Camelot Castle was trans-formed a few years by Media Entrepreneurs John and IrinaMappin and Ted Stourton into what has been one of the most stun-ning places in the UK to visit.

As you walk by the sea and drink up the sea air you realisethat a visit here once in a while is the exact antidote for the busycity life that many of us lead.

Dinner is served by an outstanding brigade of chefs that havebeen flown in and recruited from the Jumeirah Group in Dubai.Indeed so delicious are the menus at Camelot that the most stress-ful decision of the weekend is deciding what not to have. The foodis English with an international theme and the deserts are com-pletely irresistible. The Crème Brule that I had on my first evening

was one of the best ever.

Breakfast is both traditional and generous, served again bygraceful Peter the Maitre’d, in a style more expected in Gstaad thaton the Cornish Riviera (not surprising as the owners grew up inthe Palace hotel there).

The whole focus and ethos of this stunning hotel is designedto invite you to explore new ways to relax and to regenerate yourcreativity, that true essence of being that is the reason that we arealive.

My room had the most sumptuous four poster bed and en suitebathroom that was the size of most bedrooms complete withJacuzzi.

And what a view! A 270 degree view of the Atlantic ocean.

Tintagel has always held a wonderful significance for me, inmany ways it is the quintessence of England.

Now with the rebirth of Camelot Castle we will always havethat special home from home, a private getaway which allows meto treasure the real me that I know and love.

OUR STORY, my dear readers, sees us backin time, a time perhaps many would care toforget and a few adventurous souls mightcare to remember.

On a bleak snowy day in 1788, Paris,France outside the Bastille to be precise. Aday when the sky was so grey and theground so white, that any meeting placebetween the two is only afforded by amoment of clear weather which comes withthe turning of the wind. The chill in the airmatches the lonely bare ground and that atbest offers up silence with angular shapes tocomfort the constant pain of hunger thathangs like the foretold death of a child. Notfar off the North West turret, a single pair ofravens circle in the air, a silhouette againstthe melting snow which covers this unyield-ing and blighted landscape.

Our two characters have been impris-oned for five years inside the Parisian hellthey called the Bastille. This site had previ-ously been a swamp. In the dank bowels ofthis once princely fortress had been held thetreasures of the mighty Kings of Francealong with Nobles, of whom it is said, thatif at the late hour of alcoholic murmur hadmerely a thought of Royal discontent, wouldawaken to their horror, imprisoned, on theother side of this unforgiving Rubicon.

This paradox of regal delight and adilemma posing as an equally delicious

source of scandal and rumor mongering, was in its part, the very oil needed for thesmoother running of the otherwise deadlydull and unproductive life at court.

However, over the last few years theBastille had fallen into dilapidation and dis-repute which had matched the royal pittanceof a grant long since diverted by the gaolerbefore its arrival at the squalid gates. So,somewhere between the snow falling, thegaoler sleeping and France on the brink ofstarvation, we find our characters entombedin the granite mausoleum they called theBastille.

Now, it so happened, that it was the cus-tom that each day at noon that some pris-oners were allowed from their cells to walka certain large passage that stretched fromone long side to the other. Off this corridorthere was a sequence of cells holding pris-oners who had committed high treason andhad been in solitary confinement for so longthat no one had ever had site of them. It hadbeen a punishable offence to try and speakwith them but over the years the guards hadbecome more and more discontented andlazy to the point where every day for nearlyeighteen months the young poet had beenable to sit down outside the cast iron doorfor the hour to converse with the painter.

Each day the poet would sit and listen tothe painter, encouraging him to give tell of

the view from his window, for none of theother cells in that cell block had an outsidefacing window. The only site afforded tothem was of the courtyard in the centre ofthe Prison below. The painter woulddescribe the weather each day, with sun onthe moat below framing the ducks and thegeese, children playing with their dogs orsinging an array of songs. The painter wentto great lengths to describe the colours of theladies and gentlemen’s dress, the walkingsticks and, once a month, the passing circusthat crossed the river Seine for the centre ofParis. The circus animals were often newand exotic. Market days were particularlyinteresting to the poet, for twice a week, allthe farmers with their cattle, crops, geeseand sheep would be described in minutedetail, with the abstract air of the paintersprose.

Over the months their friendship andbond had grown to the point where thepainter felt comfortable in enquiring of thepoet the true reason for his incarceration. That day, much like any other, the painterasked the poet why he was in prison, towhich he replied that he had written some-thing that the Queen had found a littledirect. The poet then asked the painter howhe had managed to end up in that situationto which the painter responded that he hadpainted the King in a way that he saw him, which the King had found insulting, he hadordered the canvas to be destroyed and the

painter sent to prison.

The following day at the usual time thepoet sat outside the cell door and quietlycalled for his friend. There was however noreply. The poet wandered slowly over to thegaoler’s guard and asked him who was inthe cell. The guard responded that a pardonhad come through the previous evening andthat now no one was there. The poet wasshocked, and as he caught his breath, com-manded that if he were to continue writingthe gaoler’s letters to his mistress he wouldpersonally wish to see that the cell wasindeed empty for himself. Whereupon, theguard, without hesitation lifted up his bunchof keys and escorted the poet to the cell. Hethen placed the key into the top and bottomlocks and with a mighty push opened thecast iron door.

It was indeed empty.

The poet stepped into the cell and look-ing and the four plain stone walls... gasped...for there was no window.

The Bastille fell a few months later givingfreedom to all.

The poets name was Francois-MarieArouet.

Some now know him as the great writerVoltaire.

IS THIS ONE MAN GOING TO ECLIPSE ALLTHE BUSINESS MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS INU.S HISTORY?

Dale Carnegie had it good for a while, TonyRobbins even had us walking on fire, butabsolutely nothing can prepare you for thedelivery of Grant Cardone when his freshconcepts and ideas impact your business andtranslate into the bottom line expansion andpermanent motivation that begin on theinside and continue to grow long after theseminars are over and the hot bath hype hascooled.

One indicator that one immediatelynotices and that makes Grant Cardone’sadvice and products so very different is thathe is probably the first U.S motivationalspeaker to be fully exportable worldwide. Itis worth noting that some of the strongestinterest for Mr. Cardone’s products is comingfrom international and overseas corporationsin Europe where other traditionally“American Style” motivational speakers haveusually been politely ridiculed or sidelined.

So what is it that sets Grant Cardoneapart from his predecessors and why isEurope interested? Having studied theCardone products and his delivery, itbecomes immediately evident that he standshead and shoulders above every other moti-vational speaker and business consultant/coach.

1) He is the first to actually challenge muchof what has been taught by the “gurus” foryears. Mr. Cardone quite convincingly sug-gests that what has been taught over theyears may in part actually be the contribut-ing factor to low levels of production. "It ismy belief that much of what has beentaught for years to sales people (as oneexample) is not only not desirable to cus-tomers in the 21st Century but is one of themain reasons industries dependent uponsales people have so much staff turnover. The idea of answering questions with ques-tions and other attempts at control andmanipulation do not work for either seller orbuyer."

2) Mr. Cardone's business approaches arebased on research targeted towards whatpeople truly want today, not just what maysound good from the stage or what was con-sidered “truth” and has been passed downthrough the ages! “Times have changed, people have become more informed, havemore choices and the company’s efforts mustchange with the times,” says Mr. Cardone.

3) In addition to what Mr. Cardone teachesbeing very practical, simple and applicableto today's company and customer demands,Grant Cardone actually walks the walk of histalk and is able to validate the workability ofwhat he teaches in today’s marketplace.Who you see on stage is exactly who youwill see off the stage, at his home, in hismarriage, and at his companies. Unlike

many of today’s motivational gurus heapplies his own advice to build real busi-nesses in the real world of business.“Attaining success is not a “secret” the waysome would suggest in order to sell their solu-tions. Success depends on actions andapproaches that are based on truth, integrityand simplicity that others are able to dupli-cate and consumers will trust enough toexchange money and things of value for. Youdon’t add more mystery to a person’s life orbusiness in order to make their life and theirbusiness better.”

Any talking that he does is incidental tothe walking and it is clear to any observerthat it is through his actions that he contin-ues to expand and survive. By simply dupli-cating or copying those actions one is able torise to the heights of success that many, prior to Cardone’s trainings have only beenable to dream of.

Grant Cardone has factually been speak-ing to audiences for over twenty years abouthow to improve themselves, their businessesand their practices. He has been studyingand researching sales, success and businessfor most of his life.

While hundreds of thousands of peoplefrom varying industries and walks of lifehave attended his seminars and bought hisproducts just as many have implemented hisapproaches and business philosophies toimprove their lives, their incomes and theirbusinesses. It is not his words that peopleare repeating and duplicating, but rather hissimple actions.

And those actions are translating andwill translate into the building of some of thebiggest business empires on Earth.

So it is hardly surprising that in certainbanking and finance circles across Europe,Grant Cardone is being heralded as the men-tor to Europe’s future Billionaires and isbecoming quickly recognized as the shaperof Empires that would make the leviathanmiss a beat.

Extraordinary insight, including thewillingness to observe the existing scene andbe willing to change with the times regard-less of mass public opinion, are the prereq-uisites to making correct decisions. Grant iseducating the best of the best in how exact-ly to enhance their perceptions and thustheir insight.

His ability is highlighted not just in hiscapacity to give advice but also in the assess-ment of real situations such as:• Mr. Cardone correctly went to cash prior tothe 1987 bust. • He went to cash again prior to the internetbust in the US and repeatedly forewarned hisseminar attendees.• He started buying real estate in the early1990’s when California real estate was adespised asset of even the rich which proved

to be stellar timing.• Within eight years, contrary to public opin-ion, he sold his California portfolio as thecondo boom heated up due to what he cor-rectly predicted as today’s overbuilt market. He bought two thousand apartments inTucson, Arizona just after 2001 and recentlysold that entire portfolio just prior to therecent pull back.

“Each of these events were so obvious to me.One could just look at the truth and disregardthe decisions of masses of people. The realityof what has caused today’s real estate situa-tion and sub-prime problem has yet to befully acknowledged.”

Mr. Cardone’s fiscal advice and analysisin the real estate markets is being heeded asfar away as the oil rich CIS State ofKazakhstan, where Grant’s astute observa-tion and troubleshooting analysis of the SubPrime fiasco in the U.S has found relevance.Mr. Cardone’s recent comments caught theattention of a primary opinion leader toKazakhstan’s Government Ministers who arecurrently combating a similar fiscal crisisand integrity collapse in their own buildingmarkets.

While Mr. Cardone is a self-made suc-cess story, his life has not always been soclear cut and positive. At the age of nine helost his father and ten years later lost hisolder brother both of whom were his rolemodels. By the age of 19 he had developed aterrible drug habit that he almost died frombut would finally kick at the age of 25. Atthis critical point in his life he directed allhis energy and efforts into turning his lifearound and creating a career for himself.

His first real commitment to success wasas an automobile salesman at the age oftwenty five when he started keeping recordsof every customer interaction. He even wentas far as using audio recordings of phonecalls and videotaping customers to find outwhat buyers really wanted and whatapproaches were most effective.

After compiling thousands of records,he then formulated a new way of handlingpeople that was more customer friendly, more informative and would quickly provemore effective! Within twelve months GrantCardone had reached the top 1% of all auto-motive sales in the US!

He didn't know it then but hisapproaches, later to be trademarked asInformation Assisted Selling (TM), have rev-olutionized automotive sales approaches andliterally changed the auto industry. Hisresearch and efforts initiated processes andtechnology that are today considered morecustomer friendly, shorten the sales cycleand reduce the effort it takes to purchase anautomobile. "It was obvious to me that what-ever was being taught in this industry wasactually counter productive and the ultimatereason why the production levels industry-

wide were so unacceptable. While manyblamed the workforce I found that the realcause of the lack of production was the actu-al approaches that were being promoted bythe industry “experts”“.

His new methods and approaches havesince been adopted across the board in manyvaried sales industries as well as exported toBrazil, Australia and Europe! Companiesand industries all over the world are nowbeing introduced to and using Grant's pio-neering developments and contributions.

Grant Cardone has since become ahighly acclaimed international Sales andMotivational Speaker travelling the globespeaking to business leaders and individualson topics from sales, motivation, real estate, personal finance and business at as many astwo hundred engagements a year. He is theCEO of three very active businesses and hisreal estate portfolio now exceeds$120,000,000. In addition to an already veryfull schedule, Grant has been a guest onmore than one hundred radio and televisioninterviews appearing on the Today Show,Hollywood Access, and MSNBC.

He is recently completed his first book,“Sell or Be Sold” which is waiting to be pub-lished. And he is currently working on hissecond book, "Breaking Out From theMiddle Class". Grant presently lives in LosAngeles, California with his beautiful wifeElena Lyons-Cardone, a successful actress.Together they acquired and transformedLionel Richie’s house in the Hollywood Hillswhich, according to Victoria Beckham, wasthe nicest house she viewed while househunting in LA.

If Grant’s personal $120m fortune hasnot hit the Ten Billion $US mark in the nextfive years as a result of the actions that Grantis currently engaged upon there will be morethan one observer of the financial marketsthat would be surprised.

Grant Cardone is factually the first U.Smotivational speaker to be taken deadly seri-ously at the very top and the highest intelli-gence levels of the European finance mar-kets. That fact alone speaks volumes. In fact,a few moments ago, as I just replaced thereceiver to confirm a reservation at thePalace Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland mythoughts quite naturally alighted on thequestions that I might be asked next week bythose so very conservative Swiss Alp boundbankers and financiers who have, on thegrapevine, heard of our friendship and insideknowledge of Mr. Cardone’s work and whoare extremely keen to dip into the metaphor-ical fondue that is bubbling.

Not that the Swiss or European FundManagers like making more money particu-larly.

IF EARLY REPORTS FROM THE BIGGESTmusic market in the world are true, thenplanet Earth is about to experience theWon-G effect. In London, where Won-G isstructuring deals with entertainment lead-ers, people are now asking: Who is Won-Gand where does he come from? The Won-Gstory is fascinating.

Few MCs can claim the accomplish-ments of Won-G, “The Haiti Boy.” Talented, charismatic and personable, he was born inPort Au Prince, Haiti, on August 29th1978. He spent his early years betweenBrooklyn and Los Angeles and was nostranger to hard work, since his dad ownedand operated a fleet of trucks in the con-struction and paving business. The secondoldest of twelve children (six boys and sixgirls), Won-G was raised in a tight-knitfamily structure and considers his businessan “independent family business.” His olderbrother, Dubble-M, produced the majorityof Won-G's music, and his father, Macneal, plays a critical role in all of his businessventures. “Pops is like – everything: ourmanager, guide, and spiritual consultant,”exclaims Won-G. “In fact, our military-styleupbringing instilled in me the discipline Ineeded to make my mark on the streets.”

Won-G’s 12-year music career, duringwhich he's released five independentalbums, has culminated in Real SovageMusic, LLC, his first non-undergroundlabel. Won-G's previous releases are:Shadow of the Rains (1993), Do It, Do It,Won-G (1995), Royal Impression(2000), No Better Than This

(2001), and Explosion (2002). He's workedwith a wide variety of musical talent, including rappers Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Da Brat, and Tupac’s Outlawz;as well as world-renowned producers RicWake, DJ Quik, Johnny J, and L.T.Hutton. He has featured pin-up beauties(who are also personal friends) such asCarmen Electra, Traci Bingham and ParisHilton in his videos.

With the release of his latest album,“Rage of the Age,” which has already pro-duced a hit single and video “Caught Up inthe Rapture,” Won-G is poised to bolsterhis street credibility to the national level.Paying homage to the seminal 1980Blondie hit “Rapture,” this Hip-Hop ver-sion of the Blondie classic has been down-loaded over 600,000 times within the firstmonth after its release on AOL’s music serv-ice. The hardcore, pulsating “Blind Man”and the Caribbean-inspired “I'm AHaitian” address prejudice against Haitiansat home and abroad, while offering some ofthe historical accomplishments of hisbeloved homeland, Haiti, the world's firstBlack Republic in 1804.

Won-G's impressive ability to rap andrhyme in four languages (English, French,Creole and Spanish) sets him apart fromother hip-hop artists and creates fantasticopportunities in international markets. Infact, Won-G and his special blend of Hip-Hop/R&B was presented to the world inJanuary at MIDEM 2007 in Cannes, France.

Real Sovage Music will makeavailable, for the first time, aCD reflecting Won-G’s bestwork, as well as two profes-sionally created videos,“Nothing’s Wrong” withTraci Bingham, and

“Caught Up In The Rapture”with Paris Hilton and GizelleD’Cole. The CD will also con-tain club versions, and will beready for release this Spring.

Although he could havecapitalized on his friendshipwith Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and several other notable hip-hop artists, Won-G has alwaysbeen determined to make it onhis own terms. “’Rage of the

Age’ is my first major release asfar as national MTV, BET andcommercial play are concerned.Even though we have a popcrossover record for the masses,we're still keeping the streets on

lock. I try to stay as close to theHaitian community as possible

because, first and foremost, they aremy people and they have shown meincredible support over the years. I’vebuilt my own fan base by utilizingindependent distributors and streetteams, consisting mostly of imme-

diate and extended family. Myunderground following has beenmost prevalent in Miami, New

York, Boston, Little Haiti, Jamaica, Dallas,Houston, New Orleans and, of course, Cali. So, with the mass street credibility that Ihave achieved over the last ten years, thenext step is to get great national and inter-national distribution deals,” exclaims theH a i t i a n - b o r nrapper/tycoon.

Won-G is currentlyin the studio working onhis new album, “Prince ofthe City.” While thisalbum will feature LionelRitchie, Snoop Dogg, 50Cent, T.I., Nelly, GeorgeClinton, and several otherbig names like Fat Joe andJadakiss, future releaseswill feature some of ourold-school megastars likePatti Labelle, SmokeyRobinson, and StevieWonder.

In addition to hismusical efforts, Won-G isextremely active in his community.Presently Won-G is serving as Haiti'sAmbassador of Good Will for Childrenand as spokesperson for YAPI (YouthAdvocate Program International). TheHaiti Boy has a long history of supportingcharitable causes, such as RADD(Recording Artists, Actors, & AthletesAgainst Drunk Driving), Priscilla Presley'sDream Foundation, and Malibu's BonyPony Ranch, which is dedicated to the

rehabilitation of underprivileged childrenand at-risk youth.

From the days of slingin’ CDs on thestreets to cruising in his Rolls RoycePhantom, Won-G has always kept it real.

Being subject to nei-ther drink nor smoke,Won-G has donenumerous “Anti-Drug/Stay-In-SchoolTours” throughout thecountry and is anexcellent role modelfor our youth. Alwayssympathetic to the lessfortunate in life, TheHaiti Boy never hesi-tates to say a kindword to any personwho may cross hispath.

"There are somany rebellious kidsout there and theyneed to have opportu-

nities to channel their energy in constructiveways," says Won-G. "That's why I namedmy album ‘Rage of the Age.’ I want to usemy music and my life to show our youngpeople that ‘you can make a difference andmake the world a better place.’ I was able tofollow my dream and get to where I am inlife because I had people who believed in me.I want the kids out there to know that theycan accomplish everything I have andmore!"

Being subject toneither drink norsmoke, Won-G hasdone numerous“Anti-Drug/Stay-In-School Tours”throughout thecountry and is anexcellent rolemodel for ouryouth.

AMERICAN POLITCIANS and our media are notnecessarily the best representation for true amer-icans and in recent months have contributed tocreating a global picture of America that is bothinaccurate and destructive to the future .

It goes without saying for many that theU.S President is not the average American man,any more than Paris Hilton is not the averageAmerican young girl.

But at times that is what our media wouldhave us believe. And, it is quite amazing thedegree that public opinion towards America hasbeen harmed over the past few years.

In these times of rising anti-Americanismin Europe and in other parts of the world it isvery important that we do not forget exactly whyit is that the good works of many have blessedAmerica.

I was personally fortunate enough to live inthe United States for six years and during thattime I had the good fortune and honour to meetmany people from all over the United States. Some of those friendships have become some ofthe most cherished and valued in our life.

I could not have hoped, on the whole, tohave met a kinder and more generous group ofsouls during the time we spent there, and it is fair

to say that living in America, meeting and gettingto know Americans and learning their values andideas gave me back my hope in humanity. Anddirectly as a result of that hope we now havebeen able, at CAMELOT CASTLE, to forward thathope to thousands of other people.(www.camelotcastle.com)

We should remember that America wasfounded by those determined to escape andoppose religious persecution in Europe and thefounding fathers set in stone a declaration ofIndependence, a Constitution and a Bill of Rightsthat between them represent some of the mostvaluable documents ever written on behalf ofmankind to help mankind and to securemankind’s freedom.

It is quite fitting that the hope and wonder-fully positive feeling that people find here todayat Camelot Castle were in part catalysed by theAmerican values, hope and basic goodness that Iran into with Americans of all types when I livedthere.

The romantic in me would like to think thatthis was the same hope that was carried toAmerica on the Mayflower from these Britishshores in the first place. And, igniting life andlives in the Americas, was the same hope thatcarried on in the hearts and minds of the menand women who forged a great nation now

known as the United States of America.

Whatever the truth is or from wherever thathope “sprung” it was unmistakable when Iencountered it in the United States in 1991.

In America the idea that “ANYTHING IS POSSI-BLE” is known and understood and sits at thecore of the entire country’s existence.

And, it is because of that innate understanding offreedom, anything is indeed possible.

For those people who have existed in soci-eties or areas where this idea has been sup-pressed or knocked out, it is sometime hard toreally understand the USA and the people’s opti-mism but when one experiences this understand-ing for oneself it is quite priceless and unmistak-able.

A man’s dreams are sacred and when aman is allowed of given a free space to dreamvery often those dreams will come into reality. InAmerica one is invited to dream, indeed one isinvited to dream big!

It is traditional in acknowledging Americato roll out the stars and the well known figures ofthe day but today I want to invite you to thinkabout and bless the real treasure of America.ITS ORDINARY PEOPLE.

For the real value of the United States lies in itsordinary families, the men, women and childrenthat form the vast majority of its people.

They are often not the flag wavers or theegg throwers but they live their lives in the sin-cere service of others and while they are oftensilent they are indeed the true standard of theAmerican nation.

In short they are quite wonderful people.

If you know such a person please do for-ward this on to them. And please send theirdetails to us and let us know exactly why theyare wonderful and why you appreciate them. Inreturn we will be sending each and every one ofthem a prize direct from Camelot Castle,England.

We think it’s important to validate and acknowl-edge those people.

And, we think it’s our duty to do so.

True Americans who have kept and keep theRight to Dream alive.

Please visit us soon and do say hello atwww.camelotcastle.com

MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!

WHY THE WHOLE WORLD SHOULD INDEED BLESS AMERICA AND

OUR NEWSPAPER GROUP IS REPORTEDBY MEDIA WEEK:

If human rights include freedomfrom brutality and cruel, inhumanor degrading treatment, then thereis no doubt that contemporary psy-chiatry’s major “treatment” fixa-tions are human rights abuses.

While billions in taxes are paideach year to fight the “War onDrugs,” there is a different kind ofwar affecting the world today, onethat is perpetuated bypsychiatrists dreaming

up new “mental illness-es” to fund a multi-

billion-poundlegal drugindustry. In2005, over 1/2million psychi-atric drug pre-scriptions fors o - c a l l e d‘hyperactive’children weredished out at acost of over£24million tothe taxpayer,drugs whose side effectsinclude visual hallucina-

tions, suicidal thoughts, psychoticbehaviour as well as aggression andviolent behaviour.

And over 29 million prescriptionsfor antidepressant drugs were hand-

ed out at a cost of over £338million,drugs whose side effects includesuicide, mania, psychosis, aggres-sion and hostility.

Then there is the bar-baric electroconvul-sive therapy (ECT), abarbaric excuse forso-called ‘treatment’that psychiatristshave deceptivelycloaked in medicallegitimacy. Physicallyintrusive, and dam-aging, it violates thedoctor’s pledge touphold theHippocratic Oath and“Do no harm.”

While we don’talways question diagnoses, andwhile we place our trust in medicaldoctors who can and do provideempirical evidence, such standardsare non-existent when it comes topsychiatry.

As presented in countless illus-trations in psychiatric and medical

journals, the brain has been dissect-ed, its parts labelled and analysed, while the public has been assaultedwith the latest psychiatric theoriesof how the physical and chemicalcomposition of the brain deter-mines behaviour, mental disorders,or disabilities.

What is missing in all of this isscientific fact.

PSYCHIATRY: AN INDUSTRY OFDEATH lifts the lid on the psychi-atric falsehoods that have permeat-ed the society.

For that reason, thisNewspaper Group is making avail-able a free copy of this importantdocumentary to anyone that wishesto see it.

Flitty’s Purposes

Up on a cloud and far away,There sits ‘Flitty’ on a Summers Day.

What does it do? No one quite knows,It actually quite likes to wiggle its toes.It likes to take a look, at this and that,

And wonder where everybody’s at.Once in a while it will wander over,And Sniff the Kiss of a Bee on clover.

But should the Bee become aware,Of Flitty’s gaze and helpful stare,Or try to see young Flitty’s face,

Bang! - Flitty was never there in the first place. And that doesn’t mean that Flitty’s shy,

But if you have ever wondered whyThe tick goes tock or the tock goes tick,

It’s just another Flitty trick. Some go for Gold and dig in the ground.

Not Flitty, It moves Thought around. And not your naughty stinky thought,

Just what Flitty likes, or what it feels it ought. It flits over this and hovers over that,

Who knows, Flitty might be sitting under your hat. When you think that Flitty’s gone, or was never there,

It’s then that Flitty will give you a scare. So what is this purpose of this ditty?

Or indeed are the purposes of our Flitty? The answer to that lies somewhere in the middle

Of this ‘Flitty de Flit’ or perky riddle.

So riddle me this or riddle me that,But just take a peek under Your hat.

Flitty’s Twinkle

Is this the twinkle of our “Flitty”,

Famed of fable and of ditty?

It seems that Flitty’s been to sleep,

But now has woken to help and heap

Upon all those whom fortune favours,

Wealth surpassing all the neighbours.

Freedoms scarce imagined come

To those upholding Freedoms won.

So like the Raven in the sky,

If YOU have ever wondered if

The wind is free upon the cliff,

Or if light is that free too.

Recognise this…

All the beauty and freedom that is true,

Resides in YOU!

THE PURPOSE OFCAMELOT CASTLE

Our purpose in creating Camelot Castle is to have a place where anyone who agrees that life can be enhanced bynatural beauty and art can come and experience that enhancement immediately and first hand.

Camelot has the purpose to provide a unique space where people can come to share both in the extraordinary natu-ral beauty of our environment and in the extraordinary strength created when people of goodwill share their ideas andvision.

In c.800 A.D. Harrun Al Rachid, the supreme ruler of Baghdad, governed and administrated the entire Arab world.

At that time, Harrun Al Rachid, the conceptual architect of the first “Golden Age”, passed a law. That law stated, thatevery Thursday, every Master of every intellectual or physical discipline, be it Mathematics, Architecture, Religious,Political, or Creative must attend court and Al Rachid stated that, by law, they should and must share their ideas. Thisone act caused a ripple of innovation and new ideas that spread across the Arabic world and Mesopotamian cultureup through Spain and half of Europe. Indeed, ideas that occurred then are still visible today across the civilised world.

What was only known by a handful of people until today was the fact that Harrun Al Rachid also issued every law andevery order to his empire using Formal Arabic Poetry.

As early as 800 A.D. Harrun Al Rachid had isolated the power of the use of aesthetics and beauty in carrying a mes-sage across thousands of miles and great distances.

For this reason, the poets and artists of Baghdad were some of the greatest that the world has ever known. The ArabianNights were written in his honour and Harrun is immortalized in them. Harrun Al Rachid was probably one of the great-est champions of creativity that the world has ever seen.

There are two other well known non-religious occasions in recent history, when men have risen to this extraordinarylevel of responsibility and wisdom. The first was the formation of the Round Table at the Court of Arthur Pendragon onthe advice of Merlin, which cracked the suppression of the Dark Ages across Europe. The other was the structure andcodification of the American Constitution by the Founding Fathers.

The Founders of Camelot have been able to research deeper into the wisdoms of the East than ever before. Theyhave been able to draw on the modern and workable wisdom embodied in the freedoms established and maintainedby the United States. And, through unique access and friendships in the Middle East the Founders have isolated somepreviously unguessed at importances, heralded by Arabic culture, that will affect the entire future of mankind.

So when you visit us at Camelot and share your ideas here at our Round Table realise that you are being and becom-ing part of a purpose line that is indeed both ancient and of the future. For these purposes are woven through the veryfabric and the structure of our societies.

They are the weft and warp of creativity.

Truthfully, there has never been a time in the world when the sharing of ideas across the world is more important thanright here right now.

The importance of our artists to our society has been grossly underestimated and it is time that we began to value thecontribution that our own creativity can make.

Camelot is here today so that you can experience, tap into and be your creativity.

Even the greatest barriers surrender to the creativity of man.

Our purpose is for you to create yourself and thus, to enhance all life.

Hi it's Ted here:

I am working on a new artistic projectand a new series of creations this weekthat I would really and sincerely appre-ciate your help with.

PLEASE TRY THIS CHALLENGE:

“With a friend or partner take a walk(anywhere but preferably some-where new) and on that walk take anotebook and spot and make a noteof a few things in your environmentthat are NOT in any way threateningto you."

“Take a good look around and find andlist several things that are unthreaten-ing in you environment.”

"Do this until you feel good."

"As you do your walk together, if any ofthose things that you spot make youlaugh or happy or if you experience anemotion of any kind, when you spotthem, please do make a special note ofthem."

When you get back from the walk dowrite a short description of what

occurred and send it to me and let meknow exactly what happened for you [email protected]

FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS TRY THIS:

TRY NOT READING OR EXPOSINGYOURSELF AND OTHERS TO ANYNEGATIVE MEDIA OR NEWSPA-PERS AND DON’T WATCH ANYNEGATIVE NEWS AT ALL.

You may be most interested in exactlyhow and why this changes your luck inlife for the better! It is quite fascinat-ing.

If you have or experience wins or suc-cess with this do write to me and let meknow what happens and if you like Iwill let you know about some othergreat actions that you can take immedi-ately to improve your luck.

Anyway let me know how it goes andwe hope to see you soon at CamelotCastle. It's quite gloriously stunninghere at this time of the year.

All my loveTed Stourton

PLEASE HELP US OUT WITHTHIS CREATIVE PROJECT:

The Camelot Castle Hotel at Tintagelhas been transformed and the momentyou enter this magnificent buildingyou can feel Camelot's influence. TheHotel itself is a stunning building inits own right, but the transformationwithin lies at the heart of this uniquelocation. John and Irina Mappintogether with Ted Stourton, havepulled out all the stops to provideguests with an experience that youwill definitely remember.

When we chose to dine at Irina'sRestaurant, it was a still and balmy, early June evening. The sky wasablaze with a fiery sun that was slow-ly setting over the Ocean, a plus, asthe dining room itself is a magnificentspace with stunning views of KingArthur's Castle and the NorthCornwall coast from every window.

On entering the dining room, mycompanion and I were greeted and

seated by attentive and courteous staffwho were always on hand but notobtrusive. The high ceilings, chande-liers, comfortable chairs and aEuropean flavour to the decor, makethe space elegant but homely.

The food was very well presentedand very good value for money, infact the prices, which start from£19.95, do not reflect the sumptuous-ness of the food or the surroundings.I can highly recommend theSwordfish, cooked to perfection andvery filling. The head chef hails frominternational hotels of Dubai. He andhis 5 star team of chefs bring aMediterranean feel and flavour tofamiliar food that is both fresh andexciting.

My prediction is that Irina'sRestaurant at Camelot Castle maysoon be the number 1 destination forfood lovers.

THE WALLS OF CAMELOT CASTLE this spring andsummer will be adorned with paintings that someare calling the most priceless expression of beautyever to have been created by an artist in the last500 years.

And, while the prices of Stourtons contin-ue to rise in the secondary market and fortuneswill doubtless be made by some who are cashingin on the Stourton phenomenon and beginning tostock his work, Stourton remains completely unaf-fected by the clamour and glamorous admirers thatcontinue to seek his work out from all over theworld.

Indeed the local Newquay airport is get-ting quite used to the roar of Gulfstream jetengines as Stourton’s private collectors arrivefrom the far flung corners of the globe.

To try to describe the beauty of Stourton’sabstract realism in these works is a challenge that

I will not attempt here as I simply cannot do it jus-tice. However what I can tell you is that art criticsfrom around the world have nearly unanimouslyacknowledged that beauty such as this has notbeen created and viewed sincethe time that Claude Monetdressed his salon in Paris; norhas the excitement that is brew-ing in the art world been sogreat concerning the productionof an artist since Picasso wascreating in his prime.

Each day Stourton canbe found in his subterraneanstudios at Camelot Castle andeach day a team of production assistants andcraftsmen work on an intense schedule to simplykeep up with the extraordinary creative flow andoutput that emanates from this one being, whosedestiny it seems is to raise the bar on beauty thateach being experiences as they come into contact

with his work.

“What a view” as one collector described,“to see all the wonders of paradise and beyond,

through the work”.

Stourton’s recent master piece dominatesthe Great Hall at Camelot Castle. A colour-ful joy to behold, it is a representation andcelebration of the circle of life and both theperfections and imperfections of the friend-ships therein.

The positive lift that Stourton is creatingfor the British and international art worldand its economics will be felt for many

years to come by fellow artists and the auctionhouses. The Stourton Spring and SummerCollection can be viewed at Camelot Castle atTintagel, Cornwall.

CAMELOT CASTLE...RELAX

IT’S YOUR VERY OWN CASTLE... FEEL AT HOME AMONG FRIENDS

IN THE LAST THREE YEARS CamelotCastle in Cornwall has become one ofthe most sought after holiday destina-tions in Britain. Located where LordAlfred Tennyson wrote “Idylls of theKing”, where Elgar composed his sec-ond symphony and Turner painted,Camelot Castle looks out over themajestic Tintagel island and theAtlantic. It commands a view that hasbeen known to inspire heathens toprayer.

The hotel has always been afavourite of artists and the guest bookreads like a who’s who of the creativeminds of the last centaury.

Theories as to why this is the caseand why artists have felt compelled tovisit this location are as diverse andinteresting as the mythology that sur-rounds the Castle itself. What is not indoubt is the extraordinary benefit andinspiration that artists have experi-enced as a result of arriving there.

Today any artist who feels that theircreativity or inspiration would benefitfrom staying at Camelot Castle is eligi-ble to apply for their Artist in ResidenceProgram. Indeed, in the last fourteenmonths Camelot Castle has activatedand helped over three hundred and fiftyartists from around the world who havebenefited from this program.

The program, run at the discretion ofthe owners of Camelot, John and IrinaMappin and Ted Stourton, is one of themost exciting, fresh and innovative ideasto influence the creative community for

many years.

“The whole purpose of the artist inresidence program is to validate andhelp artists in any way possible.Creating a space for artists that is freefrom any evaluation or invalidation hasbeen the first step. Artists, which wedefine as anyone interested in creatinga high quality of communication in anymedia or form are immensely valuableto the culture and should be lookedafter and helped at every opportunity.”

“Art and creativi-ty has in the pastbecome exclusive anda pursuit of privilege. It is interesting thatthe root of “exclusive”is to exclude. Actuallyart can be completelyinclusive and avail-able to all people. Artis food for the spirit ofall people.” For thatreason instead ofturning CamelotCastle into an exclu-sive hotel for the rich,Mappins andStourton haveensured that prices stay extremely com-petitive and it is possible to stay atCamelot for £39 pounds per nightwhich is no more expensive than alocal bed and breakfast.

“There is also a technical reasonthat it is vital to help art and artists inthe society to flourish: The wavelengthof aesthetics and beauty happens to be

that wavelength that most closelyapproximates the human spirit innative state. Many people have experi-enced what happens to them when theyencounter beauty, be it in a visual, musical or purely conceptual form.Aesthetics have the ability to raise andhelp the spirit and in fact acts as a dis-integrator wave causing less desirableelements in life to vanish. There is adirect symbiotic relationship betweenthe artists in the society and the societyitself. Our very survival is in fact direct-ly linked to the amount of beauty being

produced at any onetime across ourworld.”

“Our artistsare those beings thathave the extraordi-nary responsibility ofensuring that beautycontinues to be creat-ed across the world.Actually it is atremendous responsi-bility and is notalways easy in aworld that appears attimes to negate theefforts of the artist or

their products.”

“Our artists are the true architectsof the future.”

“To be an artist in the current envi-ronment takes an extraordinaryamount of courage and integrity. Wehave found that when artists come toCamelot as “Artists in Residence” they

get a boost of inspiration and connectup to a source of help and encourage-ment that is not always present in theirlives.”

“Some of the most enjoyable suc-cesses that we have had is with kidsfrom the inner city schools who comehere and experience Camelot and theextraordinary natural beauty here forthe first time. You can see a light go oninside of them and you just know thatnothing will or can ever extinguish it.” “It is very easy to take the creativity ofartists for granted. Our own view is thatany effort in the direction of helpingartists is repaid one thousand timesover so we continue to help and wel-come artists to stay as part of the Artistsin Residence Program as often as wecan.”

“Camelot is the first in a chain ofHotels that we have planned inMythological locations around theworld. Each of those hotels will welcomeartists in the same way and will contin-ue the tradition of helping artists thathas successfully begun at Camelot.”

Who qualifies as an artist for theprogram? On this John, Irina and Tedagree: “As soon as someone says theyare an artist, why, then they are one.The decision to create is probably one ofthe most powerful decisions that a beingever makes and by validating that deci-sion and giving it a window of space tobe nurtured it is extraordinary what canoccur.”

Danania

If you want her, she will run from you.

If you chase her you’re dammed.

You can run around the world for her,

You’ll kiss an empty hand.

But the moment that you turn your back,

She’ll dance across the sand,

She will shower you with kisses,

She will give you all her land.

She would lay her life before you,

She would give all her pearls,

And that no small memento,

For she’s the guidon of all girls.

“Danania”* is her name.

To be like gossamer her game.

And the harder that you play for her

You’ll play into your shame.

For the wisest of the wise have been captured and restrained,

By the merest whispered mention of Danania, by name.

The Dance of Danania is seductive and sweet.

With one twist she has the rulers of Empires at her feet,

And as they shout her name and worship her,

Call Danania across the land,

Those truly wise look down and mark their footsteps in

the sand.

John Mappin 2006

DO YOU KNOWA GOOD OR

KIND PERSON?It has long been the focus of most mainstream media tofocus our attention on the negative side of life and thebad guys.

We don’t need to give you examples of this…YOUread the newspapers and YOU watch the news.

At this newspaper and media grouphowever we don’t do that. We are interest-ed in and want to focus on the good guys.

So to celebrate our recent expansionand by way of a thank you to our loyalreaders and advertisers we are inviting allour readers and friends to join in a NEWcompetition.

Take a look around your life and you will see that themajority of people are great people and are indeed “goodguys”. Very often such people go on and on being goodguys for years helping and doing good works, unac-knowledged and un-rewarded. Well this month atCamelot Castle and at our Newspaper group we want toreward them.

You may even know someone in your life who is par-ticularly helpful and kind.

If you do, please write to us and tell us a little bitabout the person and why they are so great, a bit of background on what you have seen them do and we will sendthem a special prize just for them. Each and every one ofthem that you write to us about will receive a prize. Eachone will also get a beautiful commendation fromCamelot Castle and this Newspaper Group to acknowl-edge their good works.

The top five stories and good guys will get a superrunner’s up prize and there is a fabulous star prize that

will be sent to the person whose story is most inspiring. We may (with their permission) feature some of themand their stories in this newspaper in the future to inspireand set a great example to others.

All we need in your letter is your description as towhy they qualify and their name, address,e-mail address and telephone number.

By the way, we have found that byreading positive news and by focusing onhelping good people one’s health and san-ity improves. It is a great way to stop feel-ing depressed.

As a suggestion: Try not reading thenegative news for a couple of weeks or

watching negative stuff on TV and see how you do. Letus know.

Do pass this competition idea on to others. As I amsure that you will agree, it’s about time that the good peo-ple of this world got better noticed and were commendeda little bit more often.

Also you should know that this competition is aninternational competition so if you know of anyone over-seas that should win a prize then please do let us knowand please do forward this invitation to join in to all yourfriends overseas.

Think about it…Doesn’t one good turn deserve another?
