celebrate our natural mothers and our

Mother Mary who has given us life through

her Son, Our Lord.

Let’s also celebrate our Mother, the

Church, on her birthday (Pentecost) on

May 23rd.

We won’t have cake but instead our Mother

gifts us and feeds us with the Body, Blood,

Soul and Divinity of our Lord.

Since our children recently made their first

Holy Communion it would be good for us

older children to review how to be fed most

excellently by our Mother, the Church.

Glory on the Grounds youth festival will be held outside at St. John’s Catholic Center in Little Rock on

Sunday, June 6th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs for a day filled with music by Steve

Angrisano, food trucks for lunch and plenty of fun! At the end of the day we will close with an outdoor

Mass. The cost is $25 per person. All youth, Junior High and High School are invited. Registration is

through your parish youth ministry program. This event is sponsored by the Diocesan Youth Office. For
