us trip: naVigating tomorrow together

Team Cravia attended this year’s Focus Brands Regional Meeting in Atlanta and Las Vegas from 10 – 16 February.

The theme for this years FOCUS Brands Global Franchise Conference was “Navigating Tomorrow Together.” It provided the teams with an edge on how the Company will deploy its strategy for 2016. During the conference, FOCUS Brands’ speakers and team shared their experiences, unique insights and perspectives on key trends from across the Foodservice industry.

The Conference was kicked-off by the FOCUS Brands’ CEO Steve DeSutter with an engaging opening session discussion, where he shared his thoughts on the continued progress and future vision of the organization. Best-selling author Jason Dorsey and Coca-Cola’s Chief Economist, Carlos Herrera And Craig Zablocki, the author of Improv 101 and Unleash Your Creative Spirit, were the other keynote speakers at the conference.

ZwZ management team reFreshes in philippines

Zaatar w Zeit Management team went on a trip to Philippines from 3 – 8 March. The journey began at Makati City in Manila and the team visited many other nearby areas during their stay including Tagay Tay. This trip to Philippines provided the team a much-needed break from routine. The team travelled together, ate together, laughed together, discovered similar interests and bonded through shared experiences in a playful and casual environment.

This trip provided them with opportunities to unwind and boost engagement, creating confidence in each other. The team fully enjoyed the cool and breezy climate and had a fun and memorable trip to reward themselves for their hard work. The team that learns how to play together, stays together!

new seattle’s Best coFFee outlet opens in duBai

Seattle’s Best Coffee has opened a new outlet in Tower A of Dubai’s Business Central Towers on March 29, 2016. The Business Central Towers branch will serve as an independent outlet, servicing customers throughout the Business Central Towers and Media City areas. The opening event gathered a huge number of people and made it is a success.

sBc catered to BBc good Food award

The prestigious BBC Good Food Award Ceremony was held at Habtoor Grand in February and SBC was chosen as the caterer for the event. SBC served over 400 people with coffee and bites throughout the award ceremony.

time to get rolling with cinnaBon

Letting the good times roll, children got to make their cinnamon rolls at Cinnabon outlets in Dubai Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall and Mercato Mall from February 25 to March 11 and at Khalidiya Mall, Main Atrium from April 10 - 23. A wooden and stylish fence was designed for the event at the Khalidiya Mall which included a rolling and baking kiosk, a registration station, a coloring kiosk, face painiting and a stage to give away the certificates.

The kids had some serious fun as they got to spread, roll, sprinkle and bake their very own Cinnabon roll. With the help of Cinnabon staff, children spread the dough, smearing it with chocolate and cinnamon. They rolled the dough into the famous Cinnabon rolls before they are sent for baking.

To make it all more fun, children took home a certificate, along with a Cinnabon apron and bandana and a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ Nutella Minibon voucher for each participating kid. More than 1000 kids participated in the event across the malls.

cinnaBon added sweetness to choueiFat cultural day

cinnaBon treats exhiBitors at gulFood

Cinnabon supported a group of kids, representing Lebanon at the Choueifat School at their Cultural-national day by providing them a combination of 200 bites of chocolate and classic flavor minibons for the Lebanese stand. Cinnabon decorated the rolls with a Lebanese flag sticker on a toothpick. Each stall was hosted by students, parents, and staff alike, who were only too happy to share what their country has to offer.

Cinnabon is proud to have exhibited at the Gulfood 2016 exhibition organized in February. In collaboration with a supplier, Cinnabon branded the kiosk and sampled its products for three days to all the exhibitors. It was an ideal opportunity for visitors to try the different varieties of Cinnabon products in the collection.
