TAKING THE FIRST STEPSThe single most important reason why weve been ranked 15thin the world is our students. We look to recruit students from avariety of backgrounds, nationalities, education and experience,to enable a vibrant and diverse learning experience. Leadershipqualities, ability to work in a team, academic credentials and

intellectual prowess are mandatories. To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

A bachelors degree in any discipline

Preferably two years of full-time post qualification workexperience

GMAT score. Scores of the last five years are valid

TOEFL / IELTS, only if language of instruction duringundergraduate education was not English

Preference is given to students who have demonstratedleadership qualities in their work or academic life. This isassessed primarily through recommendations or referencesincluded in the application. Students must includerecommendations from their workplace, preferably from their

direct supervisor. While most applicants may not have had achance to demonstrate leadership skills at the public level, initiatives at work or in their personal life will help thecommittee assess the candidates potential.

The ISB believes that student diversity is a very importantelement of an international education.Applicants areencouraged to describe their backgrounds and provide detailsabout what and how they can contribute to the studentcommunity. Diversity can be in the form of educational background, work experience, nationality or personalexperiences and goals.

The programme is rigorous, and since its duration makes iteven more challenging, students must possess a convincingacademic record. Our evaluation therefore, considers thestudents undergraduate performance. However there is no cut-

off score. Likewise, we also assess analytical ability based onGMAT. Here again, we do not have a cut-off GMAT score. While a good GMAT score helps, an average score can becompensated for by achievements in other areas.

The ISB prefers applicants with substantial work experience(preferably at least two years). The diverse professionalexperience of students contributes to the rich and stimulatinglearning in the ISB programme. We are specifically interested inhow they have contributed to their organization or added valueto their professional roles. Successful applicants mustdemonstrate managerial and leadership potential, maturity, drive and focus.

Admissions will evaluate all applications on the above basis.Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed as part of theselection process.
