c. Rotators wheels from WR 3 to WR 100 are made of Cast Iron; covered with heavy
duty rubber HSA80, and two steel rings at the side. Rotators wheels for WR 150 and
larger are made of Cast Steel ASTM 80-40 or equivalent; Then, quenched and
tempered at 43 ~ 45 HRC (Rockwell C).
d. Remote Control Box with 12 m cable. Control: Forward/Stop/Reverse/Variable
speed adjustment with digital display in mm/min
e. Center to center distance between wheels adjustable by means of bolts and nuts
f. Angle between wheel’s center and vessel center must be on the range of 45° to 110°.
Never use less than 45° since produce un-safe condition. For increase traction use
angles from 90° to 110°
g. Increase power rotation capacity up to 50% more by adding extra idler; table sheet
next page. Valid only when: a) Vessel has no eccentricity loads, b) Each rotator
takes one third of the vessel weight
h. Quality: 1. Gearbox’s shells made of cast iron ASTM-A48-A48M or equivalent; 2.
Open gears made of Q235 steel or equivalent; 3. Shafts made of ANSI-1045 or
equivalent; 4. Motors and control box with IP 54 protection against dust and heavy
rain; 5. Frequency driver made by TECO Westinghouse; 6. Shot blasted to ensure
the paint holds longer

Fit Up Rolls Growing Line
APPLICATION: Designed for assemble shell-shell or section-
section. Ideal for construction of Monopiles and Transition Pieces

The AGW is a self-propelled frame designed to apply efficient horizontal seam welds by means of the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) Process. The AGW
rides along the upper edge of a large diameter field storage tank while applying inside and/or outside welding. Compared with conventional techniques, the
AGW reduces the construction rate 25 times and cuts welding time by 2.

Jack Selection & Determine Number of Jacks:
Jack Model Selection and Determining the Number of Jacks depends of
many factors. Calculations are made by means of a sophisticated software
which consider many variables involved; assuring the lifting jacking
system will withstand: tank load, snow load, wind load, and seismic load
for a specific construction location. Irizar Technical Support can help if
you provide us the following information:
1. Tank Diameter (m)
2. Tank Height (m) 3. Tank Weight (MT) not including bottom shell, neither base plate
4. Number of roof column(s) support (if applicable) & roof weight 5. Tank construction location (City & Country)

General Rules:
1. Jacks must never exceed its working capacity at any time
2. For tank stability the arc distance between two consecutive
jacks/trestles must never exceed 3.0 m. Min. arc distance is 1.5 m
3. If applicable, add one jacks for each roof column support

4. Without Irizar written consent never lift a tank: a) Higher than 20
m; b) With its height double than its diameter
5. Never lift a tank with shell thickness less than 3.175 mm. Tanks
with shells thickness from 3.175 to 6.0 mm must use
Reinforcement patch on lifting hooks & safety hooks
6. The user must design, fabricate, and install tank supports of 500
mm height distributed around the tank with an arc-distance of 3.0
m or less. Tank supports must have a load capacity of 18 or 37.5
MT; depending if they are used with Jacks Model 12 or 25
respectively. The tank supports allows entrance/exit to
construction workers, power cables and tools; and, air ventilation
flow
7. During tank construction leave about 5% of the tank roof opened;
this is to reduce wind internal pressure load
8. Jacking system must not be removed during tank construction;
remove only after bottom ring has been welded to the tank floor.
9. Warranty is valid only if the end-user personal holds Irizar
Training Certificate; therefore, ensure your personal has been
trained prior to operate the Tank Jacking/Lifting Equipment.
10. We do training in our Training Facility in Canada; and, at Job Site
World-Wide.
11. Modifications or alterations unless authorized by the manufacturer
are strictly prohibited. Overload or misuse can cause property
damage, body injuries or death.
Attributes:
Laboratory Tested: Irizar Lifting Jacks has been tested and found
satisfactory at full load capacity plus fifty percent of safety factor by C-
FER Technologies, a well-known Canadian Laboratory. The test
includes: a) Test of the jack along with its structural parts, b) Test of the
hydraulic lifting system, and c) Test of mechanical load holding system.
Test Report is available under request. Large number of job sites request
a third party testing report.
Power Packs come with high-end Motor Starter, Safety Release Valve,
and Electric Diagram. Wireless Control is an optional. It has sixty-
meter reach and control: Motor on/off & oil flow in/out. Advantage: One
operator can lift/lower the tank
Irizar Double Action Jacks has been tested at job site at minus 30
Celsius degrees. In contrast, the single action jacks get stuck below sub-
zero temperatures.
Quality:
a. Ball Valves are used in our system; this allow an easy operation
since close/open requires 90-degree turn; instead, the needle valves
which require eight full turns for close/open
b. Trestle Box Indentations are made to match the jack’s grip jaw
pitch; which is the mechanism that holds the tank weight
mechanically
c. Grip Jaws are heat treated, quenched and tempered; avoiding
premature wearing
d. Finishing: Shot blasted at SA 1 ½ before been prime and painted.
Coating thickness is 150 microns minimum on trestles & stay
pipes; 250 microns minimum on jacks & power packs.
Jack’s Test Certificate: We provide a Test Certificate for each
purchase order; include the jack’s serial number.
