GEMMA SERRAArchitectural Designer (Barcelona, 1982)

Architect graduated from the EtsaB -School of Architeture of Barcelona- of the Univers i tat Pol i tècnica de Catalunya, where she was first invited to participate as an assistant professor and then became a professor of Urban Design. Before finishing her thesis about Trinitat Vellaʼs Urban Prision, she practiced at DEGW-Milan in Italy. She completed her studies in the National School of Architecture of Belleville in Paris and simultaneously she trained at TH1-Vi l l ien Studio. She pursued her professional activities in Estanislau Roca Architects and Calderon-Folch Studio in Barcelona. As freelance, she has been collaborating in several studios where she has won many competitions. Since 2009, she is working at TAU - Jon Montero Studio leading the New Visual Arts Center in Donostia, Spain.
