What is Identity Preserved (IP) soybeans?
• IP soybeans should meet the Standard set by the Canadian Grain Commission. The Standard's strict rules require documentation and record keeping that covers all aspects of soybean production, transportation, handling and processing in order to ensure traceability from the time of seed purchase by the grower to the time when the containers are sealed for export by the grain elevator.
• The Canadian Grain Commission has set this Standard so you can rely on certified exporters to supply soybeans with consistent purity, food safety and desirable traits of the IP beans.

What is the Canadian Identity Preserved Recognition System (CIPRS)?
• CIPRS is the Canadian Grain Commission program that conduct audits through third party verification to ensure that the export company's IP management system meets the Standard's strict rules. Canadian exporters certified by the Canadian Grain Commission keeps a paper trail providing full traceability back to the grower of your soybeans. CIPRS provides buyers with the assurance that the soybeans they receive are the exact soybeans they ordered.
• Buyers of Canadian IP beans can request for a copy of CIPRS certificate from the exporter.
