Dear Colleagues,

We warmly welcome you to the inaugural Intersections in Global Health Conference. A special welcome to those who travelled from outside the Hamilton area to join us today. We hope the day offers many opportunities to engage in insightful and thought-provoking discussions with featured expert speakers and fellow attendees.

Intersections in Global Health aims to highlight the complex interdisciplinarity of the field of global health, drawing on the knowledge and experience of experts from diverse fields such as law, medicine, history, business, political science, and much more!

Through panel discussions, you will have the opportunity to engage with speakers from different backgrounds on a specified theme, with the aim of showcasing how different fields can converge in addressing global health challenges. You will then have the unique opportunity to take part in an expert-led workshop, during which you will be granted the opportunity to delve further into the topics of expertise of our esteemed panelists.

We would like to thank each of our honoured speakers for contributing their time and effort to be an integral part of today’s event.

We thank you for joining us.

With kind regards,

Marina Atalla On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee
