Alumni policy at Radboud University

• Why an Alumni policy?

- Alumni are the most important ambassadors of the university - Alumni help promote higher education and research in society - Alumni help to recruiter new students- Alumni mentor new and prospective students - Alumni can offer internship placements for students- Alumni can offer career guidance

Transition from the old policy to the new

• Importance is shown in the Strategic Plan of the university

• University Board has discussed the importance of Alumni Policy with the board of deans (February 2015)

• The University Board willing to finance the central alumni policy (May 2015)

• All alumni are important! The end of “Friends of Radboud” concept

• All new alumni to get an Alumni Benefits Card
