• Located in the CACADU District, Eastern Cape• Population - 55 000• Spoken languages – IsiXhosa,(49%),Afrikaans (45%) English (6%)• Unemployment - 49% and majority is dependent on social

grants/ Pensions;• Employment is derived from retailers, tourism, agriculture and

community services (EPWP).• Eco-tourism and agriculture are two economic drivers; and• 31% of the GDP comes from agriculture
