    (GLaD)(GLaD)WHY ?

Laboratory-based Networks provide an entry point to their members and to multiple disciplines representing invaluable and irreplaceable global knowledge base.

Challenge is how to identify them and help them display their information? How to provide forum to share their experiences? And how to support their viability so that their knowledge is not "lost"?

    International Health Regulations Coordination

    WHAT DOES IT OFFER?

Connectivity: add value and link to others

Recognition: give visibility to the Network and its members

    Collaboration: share experiences and resource

Purpose: business operability and sustainability of laboratory networks

though disciplines may differ, they are connected.

In this display, there are 5 networks (PulseNet

Rubella, Influenza and Global Food-borne Infections)

comprising of more than 500 laboratory sites.
