In 1991 he graduated dental studies at the Medical University of Warsaw. He also graduated biology at the University of War-saw (1990-1992) and specialized studies in orthodontics (1996-1998) at the University of Washington in the USA. In 1999, he defended his doctoral dissertation with distinction, in which he dealt with the stability of the ef-fects of orthodontic treatment. In 2004-2010 he worked at the ‘Institute of Mother and Child’ in Warsaw, where he dealt with children with complicated congenital malformations.In 2013, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofa-cial Association awarded the professor the 2013 Samuel Berkowitz Long-Term Outcomes Study Award for the best publication in 2009 in the specialist scientific magazine Cleft Palate Craniofacial Journal. He is a member of editorial boards at the European Journal of Orthodontics and Orthodont (Czech Orthodontic Society magazine). In 2010-2012, he conducted lectures and seminars on orthodontics at the Radbound University Nij-megen Medical Center in the Netherlands.He conducted classes there (lectures, seminars, planning and conducting treatment) with Dutch physicians specializing in orthodontics. The result was the second doctoral thesis defended in June 2011. In 2012, he defended his habilitation dissertation in the Czech Republic and began working in Switzerland at the University of Bern, where he is the director-coordinator for clinical trials.

Dr. Francesco Mangano was born in 1979 on the Lake of Como, Italy. He graduated at the University of Milan in 2003 (110/110 cum laude). Immediately after graduation, he devoted his attention to Implant Dentistry, attending the Post-graduate Program in Oral Implantology and Bone Regeneration of the Oral Implantology Clinic, Department of Periodontology, Dental Research Division, Guarulhos University, Sao Paulo (Brazil) where he became Clinical Instructor. After this expe-rience, he worked intensively in the field of Implant Prosthodontics and Digital Dentistry. He is Lecturer for the Academic Unit of Digital Dentistry, IRCCS, San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, (Italy), Founder and Scientific Coordinator of the first-in-the-world 2-year Master in Digital Dentistry, at the University of Varese (Italy).In 2016, he completed his PhD in Biotechnolo-gies, Biosciences and Surgical Techniques, at the Department of Surgical and Morphologi-cal Sciences, University of Varese (Italy). From 2018, he is Associate Professor and Lecturer at the Sechenov First State Medical Univer-sity of Moscow, Russia. First-grade specialist in dental sur-gery (1999), specialist in maxillofacial surgery (2005), graduate from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw (2005), assistant at the Clinic of Cranio-Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and Implantology. Doctoral student on facial bone fractures. Completed numerous trainings in Poland and abroad. Has been systematically expanding his expe-rience in the field of implantology, alveolar rid-ge reconstructive surgery and orthognathic surgery. Has many years of experience in using implants both in classic as well as com-plex, interdisciplinary clinical cases. Usually, he works with patients with various degrees of facial deformities. Owner of the FACE-CLI-NIC Malocclusion Treatment Centre – one of the most modern dental clinics in Poland.

DR TOMASZ ŚMIGIEL, DDS, MSc

Graduate of the Medical University of Silesia and three-year MAI postgraduate studies at the J.W. Goethe in Frankfurt - carrying out his own research, writing and defending his scientific work allowed him to reach for the title of Master of Science in Oral Implantology. Co-founder of the elite association Implant Masters Poland, as well as co-founder and editor-in-chief of one of the first in the world, and the first in the history of polish dentistry, the magazine of digital dentistry - „Internatio-nal Magazine of Digital Dentistry CAD / CAM”. Lecturer and author of many publications in Poland and abroad, participant of over 120 courses and trainings, including in Boston, Seatle, Madrid, Milan, Manhaim. Active member of the Polish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. Currently, he participates in the process of creating a new association, Digital Dentistry Society Poland, whose main objec-tive is to standardize therapeutic processes in which digital technologies are used.

Fernando Zarone is full professor and chair of Prosthodontics, Dental Materials, Prosthetic and Lab Technologies, Implant Prosthodontics, and is head of the ward of Prosthodontics at the Dept. of Neuroscien-ces, Reproductive and Odontostomatolo-gical sciences, in the University “Federico II” of Naples (Italy). He is also involved in various didactical and research programs with other prestigious Universities (Siena, Milano S. Raffaele, Roma, etc.). Today, Prof. Zarone’s research work is mainly aimed at the topic of Esthetics, with particular focus on new materials and productive technolo-gies (digital dentistry, metal-free materials, minimally invasive restorations). A speaker at national and international congresses, he has authored relevant publications in prestigious international scientific journals for years, like Dental Materials, Clinical Implant Dent and Related Res, COIR, JOMI, J Adhes Dent, ID and various books. Prof. Zarone is an active member of various scientific societies, like SIO (Italian Society of Osseointegration), DDS (Digital Dentistry Society) and is past-president of SIOPI (Italian Society of Dental- and Implant-Prosthodon-tics).

DR N. MED. RAFAŁ ZAGALAK

In 1996 he obtained a degree in medicine and in 1999 in dentistry at the Poznań Uni-versity of Medical Sciences. Actively working with the Department of Prosthodontics, he conducted research in the field of implant biomechanics, which culminated in a doctoral dissertation. In 2004 he was awarded the Rector of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences prize for scientific activity. He is the author of about 50 scientific publications in the field of implant dentistry and a member of scientific societies: OSIS, EDA and PSI. During the 15 years of cooperation with the Foundation of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences he held the medical director position responsible for research and development. Co-author of four Polish and European patents concerning implant applications. Owner of a private dental clinic Zagalak in Bydgoszcz.
