Installation

Install the provided Sitecore package (IB Sitecore Connector.zip) using the package Installation Wizard.

First, upload the package by clicking “Upload package”

Select the file and click Next.

Then click Upload again.

After successful uploading, close the current dialog.

Now you can install the uploaded package by clicking Next

Review the package Information and click Next

The installation process will start. Close the dialog after the installation.

Configuration IntelligenceBank Account item should be created inside Sitecore’s Media Library. You will then be able to configure the connector.

Open Content Editor and navigate to Media Library, then make a right click on the node and click Insert from template.

Select IB Account template and click Insert

Specify all fields available in Content.

1. Username to connect to IntelligenceBank API server: USERNAME FROM IB ACCOUNT 2. Password to connect to IntelligenceBank API server: PASSWORD FROM IB ACCOUNT 3. API Server URL: TO BE ADVISED BY INTELLIGENCEBANK 4. Platform URL: TO BE COMPLETED 5. Preview Image Path – a folder in Media Library where all preview images will be

automatically saved.

After specifying all details, click Save in main ribbon.

Usage

Start the Synchronization process by clicking Sync button on the IB Library ribbon. Enable that tab by clicking on the newly created IntelligenceBank root folder in the Media Library.

The Synch dialog will appear. After clicking Next the synchronization process will start.

Once the process is finished, close the dialog.

Click Refresh on the IB Account item for the items to appear.

At this stage, proxy folders and proxy items are created with all available metadata having the same structure as inside IntelligenceBank platform. Note that the first sync of your site will take longer.

By clicking Preview button in IB Library ribbon preview image is being downloaded, corresponding media item is being created in folder specified in Preview Image Path field of the Account Item and the image is being displayed in Preview tab.

Media asset can be downloaded in Media Library by clicking Download button. The dialog with available options will appear. Select the Destination folder, File type and Size and click Download button. After download is finished, the dialog will disappear and the corresponding media item will be placed in the destination folder.

IntelligenceBank media assets can also be downloaded and inserted directly into Rich Text Area by clicking Insert IntelligenceBank Item button within the Rich Text Editor panel.

Warnings Report

If you would like to check whether proxy items that have been downloaded to your SItecore instance as Media Assets either have been deleted or had their review date reached in IntelligenceBank, you can do so easily by clicking on Warnings (next to Sync button);

The warning will be displayed under each Media Asset.
