PREFACE

This material has been developed with the Learning Resource Management Development System – Schools Division Office of Apayao (LRMDS -SDO Apayao) and has been implemented by the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) of the Department of Education, Cordillera Administrative Region, Schools Division Office of Apayao, Northern District, Manag Elementary School.

Ang Tatlong Magkakaibigan

Sina Pedro, Juan, at Jose ay matalik na

magkakaibigan. Dahil sa hirap ng buhay,

nagpasya silang lumisan para hanapin ang

kanilang kapalaran. Habang sila ay naglalakad

nakakita sila ng isang itlog sa damuhan. Hindi nila

alam kung sino ang kakain sa itlog na napulot nila.

Napagkasunduan nila na kung sino ang may

pinakamagandang panaginip siya ang kakain sa

itlog. Nagpahinga sila sa isang maliit na

bahay-kubo.

Bumangon ng hatinggabi si Jose, niluto ang

itlog, at hinati sa tatlong parte at kinain ang

kanyang parte. “Napaginipan kong nagising ako at

niluto ang itlog tsaka ko kinain,” sinabi ni Jose.

Nagtinginan silang magkakaibigan at nagagalit na

hinahanap ang itlog. Inilabas ni Jose ang itlog na

itinago niya para kina Pedro at Juan. “Ito ang para

sa inyo hinati ko sa tatlong parte, kinain ko na ang

sa akin,” sabi ni Jose. Humingi ng kapatawaran sina

Pedro at Juan sa kanilang ginawa. “Ikaw ay isang

mabuting kaibigan,” sinabi nila.
