This material has been developed with the Learning Resource Management Development System – Schools Division Office of Apayao (LRMDS-SDO Apayao) and has been implemented

Ang Palaka at ang Langaw

Ang mag-inang langaw at isang palaka ay

nakatira malapit sa kanal. Laging pinagsasabihan

ng inang langaw ang kanyang anak na huwag

lalapit kay palaka.

“Huwag kang mag-alala nanay hinding-hindi ako

lalapit kay palaka,” sabi ng anak na langaw.

Pagkatapos mag-usap ng mag-inang langaw,

lumipad ang anak na langaw. Nakita niya ang

malaking palaka na nagpapahinga sa ibabaw ng

malaking bato.

“Aba! Ang taba ng palakang ito! Nakakatawa

ang itsura niya. Masyado siyang mataba kaya

hirap siyang tumalon. Siguradong hindi niya ako

mahuhuli sapagkat mabilis akong lumipad,” sabi ng

anak na langaw.

Dumapo ang anak na langaw sa ibabaw ng

palaka. Hindi gumalaw ang palaka. Lumipad ulit

siya at dumapo sa ulo ng palaka ngunit sa

kasamaang palad, mabilis na inilabas ng palaka

ang kanyang dila at nahuli ang anak na langaw.
