Which film was the most successful?2012

The Hunger Games (12th March)-There are many reasons why this film was one of the most successful films of 2012, one reason would be that a large amount of money was spend on the advertisement of the film, therefore the film would be advertised everywhere and would encourage more and more people to go and watch it. Also as a first of the series this film would also make people want to watch it, as it was a book before it was a people it already had a large number of fans all ready. Another reason why it was so successful was due to the fact that it had very established and good actors in them, for example Jennifer Lawrence was the main actor along with Josh Hutchersonm who are both well known actors and have a very high success rate in films already.

Characteristics of viewer

A thriller can be either a film or a book that is normally designed to keep the reader/viewer on edge with suspense and action, therefore the audience age ranges normal range between 15-18 however this can be due to the age restrictions of the specific film. Thrillers normally attract young males as they tend to have a lot of action in them and the gender that specifically enjoys action is typically the male genre.
