Cummins HHPE | Case Study

Cummins’ ILM Level 3 Award in Effective ManagementCummins HHPE is part of Cummins Inc., a global corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies. Following on from the huge success of a global ‘Active Leadership Programme’, designed and delivered to their management community in collaboration with QA, Cummins HHPE decided to offer the additional dimension of accreditation. As an established ILM Centre, QA was able to ensure that the existing robust content aligned to ILM specifications. After a launch event, the vast majority of the delegates elected to work towards the qualification. The programme focused on equipping current and future managers with the skills, knowledge and behaviours that would support them in their roles and drive the organisation forward. Their work based assignments produced great evidence of where they were embedding and owning their learning. The programme ended in an event celebrating their achievement and this enthusiasm for development has led to a bespoke ILM Level accreditation path.
