Direct FilingAutomating your ISF And Customs Entry November 14, 2013

description

TRG Direct and 3rdwave have established a unique partnership to provide importers with the ability to seamlessly automate and control their import customs processes. This is done within the 3rdwave solution which allows the user to file their ISF and Entry automatically with Customs and OGAs through TRG Direct. This new technology offers control directly from the users desktop to create a compliant customs environment while dramatically reducing the cost of your customs filings. TRG Direct (www.trgdirect.com ) is a Customs Broker who offers one of the leading e-filing solutions, as well as “full service” brokerage. As a certified ABI/ACE software provider, TRG created a capability that allows importers to input their ISF and Customs Entry data into TRG Direct and file it directly with customs. Where their import clients require “full service” support they are able to provide it with their team of licensed customs brokers which also provides the customer service base for their direct filers. 3rdwave is a comprehensive import “trade management” solution designed and supported by Blinco Systems Inc. (www.blinco.com ) As part of its suite of products it provides importers with an integrated or “stand-alone,” highly automated process to capture the information related to the ISF and Customs Entry. Once created, 3rdWave can then generate the ISF and Customs Entry for simple transmission to customs via the partnership with TRG Direct. It is designed to be the importers next generation customs management tool. With 3rdwave the importer is able to • completely manage and control the information related to customs requirements, • create unique customs files for each entry, • electronically store relevant documents (shipment and product levels), • maintain HTS libraries, • manage Special Programs, • prepare the ISF File and Customs Entry File for pre-entry audit, • transmit the ISF and Customs entries to customs • track customs status responses • provide robust reporting packages 3rdwave does not actually do the filing, but provides the “robust” infrastructure to automate the process of preparing the information for filing via TRG Direct. 3rdwave Customs technology does this by integrating your ERP, supplier and carrier logistics partners through EDI or other electronic interfaces to virtually eliminate manual processes. To better understand how this technology can work for you, we can set up a consultation with your supply chain information to demonstrate exactly how these systems will work for your firm.

• …the best‐in‐class concepts and ideas we discuss today are scalable

• All importers, no matter their size, are subject to the same requirements and laws – and the CBP standard known as Reasonable Care

• Every importer or exporter needs at least one person who lays awake at night thinking about compliance

• Easier said…
